Most of these creatures could be considered, a branch of draconic family lineages, draconic beasts or dragonlings, with the Merwyrm some scholars in Ulthan & the Empire believe they are semi-sentient, while Sea Dragon have been warped by dark magics, Wyverns, on the other hand, are wild beasts, Wyverns will mate only when food is plentiful during the spring, males will fight another to the death in order to prevail, the winner will eat the loser, thus marking him as the strongest, the female is drawn by the smell, after mating she lays a clutch of 20 to 30 eggs, both parents take turns keeping the nest safe, incubation takes roughly 5 to 6 months after they hatch they leave the nests, and parents go about their business, the young are vulnerable to each other or any other predators, cannibalism is known amongst the young and parents will eat dead hatchlings, they have known lifespan of 50 to 70 years, like the monitor lizards they have toxic bacteria in their breath,

I think they went with a theme that made dwarfs masters of machines and such. Having them use monsters is kinda out of place.

@@GrimDarkNarrator This is a foolish way of thinking. Dwarfs are three things: strong warriors, master engineers and masters of runecraft. Shard Dragons in the Dwarf roster fit into the runic theme of they have, as they represent one of the two apexes of runic might they share with the Rune Golems of times ancient. Rune Golems represent the apex of what the Runelords can forge and animate with the power of the runes. Thungni, Dwarf Ancestor God of Runes and Runecraft, was the first to forge the very first Rune Golem and then taught the Dawi how to make their own. Shard Dragons on the other hand represent the power of the runes and that even the greatest monsters can have their wills broken and bound to the will of the Sons of Grungni. And mind you, these things are stubborn as hell and drink the rage koolaid on a daily basis. So for a runic theme they fit perfectly. And it's literally one. ONE monster. And don't listen to haters. They will argue that it doesn't fit them or that Dwarfs don't like unreliable creatures. In reality they fit the runic theme and the massive runic collars that are on the Shard Dragons bind them to the will of the Dwarfs, making the unreliable element COMPLETELY MOOT. I mean I'd love a giant, serpentine, mutant draconic murder ferret of an attack dog to deliver the pain on spot. Betting also that the Dwarfs have giant dog kennels for them.

@@Diarmuhnd after a lot of to'ing and fro'ing I went with Grimgor :) they seem to have more or less abolished anti-large for the Greenskins there's basically just the forest goblin spears and spider riders now, but I haven't checked the savage orcs yet :)
