Way more to the game than just stats. Animations, mass, attack speed, etc.

surprised no one gave u a proper answer. It is model size and formation density. Not leadership cause they fought to the death basically, not mass because they weigh the same or similar, nor attack speed cuz it is in favor of the chaos warriors as longbeards actually attack slower (4.3s melee interval compared to chaos warriors's 4s), and not chance because this is easily a thousand plus rolls which will tend heavily towards the average. Ultimately, dwarves are simply built different (smaller), allowing them more to fit more densely in addition to their already tight formation. In other words, there were on average more than one dwarf fighting one chaos warrior which got them the win despite their inferior stats. Also chaos warriors have particularly loose formations cuz of their fatass shields lol and relatively huge model size for infantry. Based on the video i would say that the dwarves are almost twice as dense which is especially clear during the initial charge
