14:10 this comes back to the meeting the military generals had in episode 2. Marley, despite having better ballistic technology that the Walled Eldians, is still woefully behind the rest of the world. There military power came from the titans, but unfortunately for them, the scouts are pretty good at killing those things... Also, the odm gear translates scarily well to urban warfare.

In case you haven't noticed, Eren chooses to go to Marley at some point and leave everyone behind in Paradise that's why Mikasa tells him "Eren, come back home" and also makes him notice that he has killed innocent people . Eren decided that because he knew that his friends and his Legion would not leave him alone in the battle against Marley, although he seemed a bit surprised that they all came to support him.

Kinda hilarious though when you think about it. Marley has never had to fight enemies like the scouts before. Their tactics of speed and hit and run is overwhelming them, literally all of the Marley soldiers got hit with their pants down. Ironically the scouts only learned how to fight like that (using the 3D gear) because the Marleys kept turning eldians into titans and sending them to the wall. So basically the Marleys trained their enemies in a superior combat method.

Weapons already existed in Paradis (not machine guns), and also 3D maneuver gear with Guns (Kenny and the anti-personnel control squad), however, this new scouts uniform with an exoskeleton for protection and thunder spears (which hange developed last season to pierce the armored titan) make them even more lethal on another level!👏🏻👏🏻👌🏼And is SO BADASS🤣👌🏼

It's rly sad how MAPPA staff put in as much effort as they can to animate this season within 12 months and around 2-3 months lost from Covid when in reality they need at least 2 years, because of that they had to resort to CG. And because of CG some people harass the episode directors and other staff, calling it garbage etc. If MAPPA never took AOT we wouldn't have gotten final season in the first place
