Meh, I will say this game is such a copy of FTL that it looks like a mod, Even down to the UI and icons. that + the IP, I sympathise with the dev but, this thing really doesn't deserve to be in steam. its too much of a copy.

Plenty of games nowadays have literal mods that cost money 😂 Guy wanted money for his creation so he’s asking for money? If you don’t like it don’t pay them I’m sure ftl has major pieces from loads of other games

@@MsArchitectschannel It's called intellectual property and copyright. If a mod costs money, then it is published through the people who own the rights to the original game and they get their cut. Otherwise these 'literal mods that cost money' would get a real fast C&D.

​@@deetsitmeisterjd I get that but if it's so blatantly going to rip off FTL making it a mod means people have to have actually bought the game you're copying. If the problem is money for development they could just go for the patreon model a lot of mods have these days. Then again copyright never protects the little guy so I say just do whatever the hell they want. FTL's made it's money so no harm done.

when designing a game it tends to be a good rule of thumb to try and make even losing fun. Hit and run factions, without designed responses like an overwatch system, can very easily break that axiom
