@@bensdecoypoondummy1189 I wouldn't say there's no hope if Saltzpyre is a Warrior Priest then Sigmar answered his calls and if there's really no hope then the best we can do is take as many theses Rat bastards with us. "we'll go but we won't go quiet!!" Also it's somewhat implied by workshop that The Undersreik 5 aren't the only heroes holding the line against the Vermintide if you count the other games that take place during the end times too.

The fights may not be map covering large every second, but you hear the drums start and it sure feels like it. Also, nothing beats the panic that the "Oh Shit" music brings to fights when the maps turn into this.

By far one of the best games I've played so far, and trust me, I played lots of games. It's the only game I keep coming back to despite sinking an immense number of hours into, and it still manages to be incredibly entertaining. It has an incredible amount of personality and the best combat system I've seen in a first person horde game. It is without a doubt the best non-strategical Warhammer game of all times, and the one with the best characters.

imo the issue isn't the numbers, there's plenty of ratmen to go around. Just look at the kill counts after a run: you and your buddies waded through an army of over 1k rodents. What makes it "feel" not as epic as this trailer makes it look is the fact that they don't swarm you in a giant wave - a veritable Vermintide - but instead charge at you in lines. Doesn't feel like you're fighting an all consuming army when you've got 3 guys in the front functioning as a meatgrinder for the oncoming horde while a dwarf's in the back with a grenade launcher. But yeah, to your point: I've got a pretty decent-ish gaming PC and I play this game on medium settings. Even so: this is the only game where I can actually hear my videocard's fan blowing...and again: it's just on medium. Having to fight what's depicted in the trailer would undoubtedly cause my (and I'd imagine a fair amount of other players') PC to melt through my desk and explode.

The "issue" is that in this trailer they're actually approaching like an army: spread out in a giant wave rushing forward to consume all. In game they come in lines. Still a crap ton of'em like shown in the trailer, but it's basically just feeding ratmen into a woodchipper: they funnel themselves into your front line and just get butchered. Like if you find a spot where they're dropping in from above or climbing up from below it just becomes an absolute meatgrinder. Still crazy fun if you ask me. :3

by far one of the best games i have ever played in my life, and I have played a lot of games including diablo series games which takes a lot of time too master!. the music is up there with diablo 2 lord of the destruction. that is all that needs to be said if your hesistant on purchasing this game. i bought every dlc and waiting on siennas dlc finally! this game is like a fucking Movie playing, and i have other music i play besides the soundtrack and it holds up very well! Godly game! from the the inventor of Rocket League!

I disagree, this trailer is amazing. It first shows the severity of the situation, the overwhelming odds the humans are fighting. Then the warriors of chaos attack from behind, for those who haven't played Vermintide one, this is a "well crap, those guys are screwed", for those who have "HOLY CRAP, WE FIGHT CHAOS TOO!?" Then the heroes show up, and once again, those who aren't familiar with the first one are like "these guys look cool", those who did are like "awe yea! it's the bloody Ubersriek 5!" The frozen moments just make it look so cool, and a really cool thing is that this trailer looks like the game. Most of these moments (apart from those with normal human soldiers) could be captured in-game.
