Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Norsca Invades (Soundtrack Mix)

This is a little mix of two tracks from Vermintide 2 I've been working on and decided to upload it somewhere before it gets lost among all the files. I have a KZbin channel, after all - so I put it on my KZbin channel.
The tracks used are both from Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and they are "Norsca Attacks" as well as "Norsca Chaos" - hence the title of the mix: "Norsca Invades".
Initially it was just meant to an extension of the criminally short track "Norsca Attacks" as I couldn't find an extended version anywhere on KZbin, but as I started working on it I begun adding sounds and splicing the two tracks together (as best as I could).
What I ended up was a track I was happy enough to listen to myself while playing - with a slow progression culminating in total Norscan barbarianism.
All credit for the music goes to the incredibly talented Jasper Kyd and is probably owned by Fatshark.
Most of the sound effects (War horns, Screaming Bell, Voices) are from the game itself while some have been recorded from Warhammer: Total War - for the maximum grimdark heresy we all know and loathe. The initial horn section (used throughout the track) is from the Gameplay Trailer and is missing from the Soundtrack.
I'm not an artist nor particularly versed in mixing music and this is a product of me bumbling my way through Audacity - you've been informed.

The whole remix amplifies the brutality and raw power of the Norsca soundtrack. Cleverly placed war cries and war horns immersed me with ease into the songs in a way that the original tracks never did. Suffice it to say, that ending was pure genius.

Amazing mix! I love how it makes me see a story in my head. Imagine you're a soldier in a small coastal fort, alone during the night watch. The fog sits heavily over the sea. And then you hear horns. First, you see only one ship, then another, then another... and more horns. You ring the alarm and rally your companions while the sounds of drums and horns are getting louder and more terrifying with each second. Everybody is finally in their positions and all you can do is await in fear. 3:05 - the ships have arrived and the horde of raiders is now running your way... This is why we love Warhammer

As a normal human, in AoS your situation would greatly depend on what Realm you are in. Most of the realms are in a post apocalypse scenario where chaos control the land, with only the realm of Azyr being in total control of Sigmar and free of chaos. Sigmar have begun crusades to retake the realms, so in those cities he founded with the stormcasts you are probably fine. Lots of other dangers in the realms though due to their nature, like Ghur which is jurassic park on steroids, or Ulgu where if you wander off a bit too far from the path you get swallowed up by the darkness. Though this is a music for Warhammer Fantasy, the setting that exploded (literally) and from it AoS was created. If you wonder why, it's because the tabletop wasn't selling at all (outsold by paints).

40K is thankfully in the realm where statistical probability saves your ass. There are simply too many worlds for all of them to not be okay. Agri worlds are probably the best to live on in terms of quality of life, aside from Pleasure Worlds. Yeah we hear about them getting raided here and there, but of a million worlds, at least 250,000 of them would have to be agri worlds to feed the Imperium minimally. That's including the billions that starve. And those are all *planets.* Spheres that take the combined armed forces of our Earth each to occupy, perhaps 4 times that number to fight for and capture. Which, y'know, is easy to bring up, but doing that same effort for 250,000 worlds is ridiculous by any material standard. We're talking 40 million *invading* combat troop casualties per planet. Lowballing, that's 10 trillion from Chaos, Drukhari, Tau, and Nids. That isn't, the same force going from planet to planet, that is, the casualties of that force. By, the sheer weight of numbers, because GW, there are billions who never see a single enemy of the Imperium in their entire life. Generations even who don't. Warhammer Fantasy is one planet getting *fucked* by *everything* all at once.
