When we move from regular to direct, will it be taxed? Is it like winding up one scheme (regular) and starting afresh a new scheme (direct) or is it like a move over/shift? Has the brokerage fee need to be paid-up to the agent before I shift over?

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
@Mongarnsamuel4 ай бұрын
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

A great way to automatically switch the regular sip to direct sip, But i have seen almost no one or nowhere it's mentioned that if you have a running sip and you want to switch, then IND money will switch all your invested fund to the direct plan and will start a new sip of same amount on the new direct plan. but IND money will not cancel your exiting sip, so you will have 2 sip running from the next sip date(one with the regular plan from your old broker and one new direct sip with INDmoney.) you will have to manually cancel any running sip with your old broker.
@catherineandrews89683 жыл бұрын
Really.? Is that good ??

Yes personal experience. If you have existing plan with a broker/bank you will need to visit your local branch or CAMS center to get it cancelled. Where does compounding play a role when you're investing via SIP?
@fincalc3 жыл бұрын
I don't think there is any compunding in SIP. You just accumulate stocks or mutual funds units at low price and sell at high price in future
@vineetkapoor13003 жыл бұрын
Compounding simply means getting interest over principal & previous interest. It'll work same as lumpsum.

Please make a video on how exactly compounding works in a SIP Coz in the end when we sell a fund, what we get is just simply dependent on the nav at that point of time.. So how do we use compounding in this case
@fincalc3 жыл бұрын
I feel there is no compounding in SIP since what ou said is correct. There is no such thing called compounding in SIP. You buy units and sell them on specific nav. And based on it you make profits

Hi Ankur, That was a great Video. I have a question, currently, my portfolio is having ELSS (Regular), Flexi Cap (Regular), and Hybrid Equity (Regular, a recent lumpsum transaction). Does switching this regular growth to a Direct growth is charged on switching or has any exit load? And as I can see NAV for Direct growth is more like that of regular growth how does it impact my current and future investment.

Hello Ankur, This was really a good video. One question. How to check the short term capital gain tax for SIP kind of investment? Because we will be buying the fund units on monthly basis right? so at any point in time, if we have to sell the units, should we pay tax for the units that we have bought from last one year?
@deme30173 жыл бұрын
@Warikoo It would make a really great video if you compare this with what would have happened if you had bought at dips. Like doing SIP kind of thing but not at top, rather when there is a fall. You can take local minimums as these dips. (Support points in Price action), Also consider that investments at initial stages are higher compared to later stages bcz if you would have just bought 5 lakh of PP flexi cap at launch date (10 NAV), by 2021 (NAV = 44 smthg), it would have grown 4.4 times to approximately >20 lakhs, which is a lot lot better than 12 lakhs. So we won't risk buying it at the first date with all of our funds, but a smart choice is to make bigger initial investments (unless there is a major economic crisis coming up ahead.) So would really like a video with these details. @Followers please request this. Even if isn't a viable option, we would have learned something.

Thank you! Great information. Question: what if I have a time crunch and want to invest a lumpsum, instead of SIP, when the market tumbles? Good idea as long as it falls to relatively low levels?

Yes it can and does go to loss. Buttt due to SIP you will still have profit because you are investing every month.. So the risk is distributed every month. So if it the stock price is decreased. Then you will be able to buy more stock. In other words, until unless the company is not shut down or stocks don't decrease constantly you will always have profit. That's a risk
