One of your microgames in this set reminds of "Judo Pro" from the new WarioWare.

Is there any way or plans to release these in some way people can inject into their games nowadays via homebrew, if such a way exists? I never got to buy WarioWare DIY back in the day. EDIT: found it, sorry! Realized distribution was done via a .sav file. Explains why I never bothered as a kid since it was all foreign to me. Instead I'll use this to let you know something: Right now I'm sitting with over a dozen Edge tabs, and Microsoft Word on another monitor. I should be finishing my Artist Statement project, but I was sidetracked with finding info. But then I remembered... your sites, Creative Worlds and Aqua Bunny. My earliest exposures to cartoons on the internet based on series I liked, creating new, hilarious things from them. I remember scoring through your old site, reading your Mother 3 comics, scrolling through your PokeLand (I think that's what it was called?) fangame dev posts, trying to find a download. The time I spent on games you did make available, loving the times you chose Mega Man music in a few (a shooter & the Aqua Bunny puzzle game). Though my time on Creative Worlds spilt over to Aqua Bunny, I think more and more since I was able to find more stuff there more easily. Soon enough, I was a Nido convert, and was imagining my own scenarios of a Nidoran male & his relatives, times with ghost starters living in a haunted house, and more. Even though I'm not as public as before with my Nido character since "OC" has a bad connection to it online and that character is was made more public in a bad period for myself, I still have a soft spot for these horned bunnies. Feel like I always wanted to make my own stories since I found your own work. And looking back on it now, I feel something resonate. That *feeling*, that *desire* to just make whatever you want, even if copyright law says no, you just do it because you care about these characters THAT much. In a time when I felt incredibly disillusioned due to poor working conditions & a general feeling of the animation community/industry being inhospitable, and major depression... I think this is the boost I needed. Maybe it's my medication finally kicking in or something, I don't know. But I doubt it. What I mean to say is... *You, Patrick deBardelaben , are one of the reasons I got into art.* And for that, I finally want to say, *Thank you.*

I'm glad you had the fortitude to dig around for it considering it's buried way out of the way. If I could even update my website, I would have liked to have gotten that up on the current site, but I'm still waiting for my web developer to do whatever it is that he's doing to get the system upgraded. I can't even announce on the site itself that I can't update it, so what a fine mess it all is. I'm honestly relieved that these are indeed playable in a way that's ironically more accessible than it was when the game was new. It keeps it from feeling ultra limited edition, and allows the work I put in to live on essentially as long as emulation exists. Even without it, though, that's why this vid exists, at least. And for whatever reason, I myself still get giddy over the fact that I used Twinbee and Mega Man music for a couple of the games I did. I guess its more of a memory trigger for me, though. I never even played Pop'n Twinbee prior to using its music for Crane Crazy, so the title theme still makes me think early Aqua Bunny more than, well to be honest, a solid entry to the Twinbee franchise. The OC thing I understand, but frankly when it comes to Pokemon you don't have much choice because the creatures aren't characters on their own. They're an OC the moment you give one a name, though there's still a bit of a power gap between mascot OC and self-insert-Mary-Sue OC. It's why I don't really care when it comes to Pokemon. I mean, what else am I going to do, and with Nidoran, no less? They're really dull on their own as basic woodland creatures who are probably only Poison type because they weren't sure what else to do with them. The franchise itself never gave them anything people can relate to outside of Valentine's sentiment, but other than that they're disposable. Additionally, with Pokemon being a species, which gives people the opportunity to do whatever they want if they aren't satisfied with someone else's take. It's not like a bad or damaging Mario interpretation, if you don't like an artist's Pikachu, there's 100,000 unclaimed ones left! Be the change you want to see and all that. But for franchises with actual characters, yeah, I pretty much stopped doing that, though I still use the old personalities for the established characters in the Alternate Universe series. Anyway, it's all good, happy to be a source of inspiration, glad you were able to still find what you needed for the WW games, and good luck on your project if it hasn't already been completed!
