Looks like there were some nice layouts there, Karl. We were hoping to go but unfortunately have other commitments. We are going to the 009 society exhibition in Mansfield on the 26th, which Dylan is taking part in, and then hopefully, Wirksworth will be in November. We've checked out the photos as well, very good with the write-up ...cheers James 🙂👍

Hello James and Dylan, great your first show I bet you can't wait :) I hope you create a video of the Mansfield show, both Mansfield and Wirksworth are a bit far for a small show. but I'll see what I'm doing for each. Take care, Karl.

@KarlAndDebbieTrains hopefully we'll get time to do a video at Mansfield, although we will be tied up in the lecture room with his layout for a couple of hours or so, as he's helping Paul Lunn with a lecture . His layout is being used as a work in progress layout by a younger modeller and to help Paul talk about planning and design 🙂👍

I find some smaller shows are better for bargains and you can get to see the layouts :)

Hello, it was a great show - I only filmed a small part of it. But with so many big events we all have to pick the best ones to go to, Take care Karl.

@@KarlAndDebbieTrains For the size of any UK shows, they are expensive. Admission to the Leipzig Hobby Fair is only 15 Euro and it includes far more than just trains.

interesting, I think we a lot of show in the UK, and I'm not sure they can all compete with each other. And like you say it's not cheap!
