3 weapons though... Only 3 weapons The class just feels so incomplete I mean mage doesnt have too many weapons but it still feels like a mostly complete class Its probably the main thing i don't like about this update, the lack of mage and especially summon weapons

I too was sad by this, but they're brand new classes. I'm sure they'll get more love with time.

Just like Terraria back in the day, summoners don't have much of a weapon arsenal. Nowadays in Terraria summoners have a lot of options, so hopefully Core Keeper gets the same kind of love and support Terraria did, and the devs will add more summoner weapons in later updates.

i use a summoner/mage build, not fully summoner due to lack of books atm. it does well, minions fo dmg, my pet does and i use staff. and replenish minions every 45 secs due to my current equipment

For your note about maxing crafting, build spike traps instead of bridges or torches. Yes they cost 3 wood, but realistically you can make your wood farm bigger, its not that hard. Whats important tho, is they sell for 1 coin. So it turns your wood farm into a money farm. Another good money farm is copper wires, 1 copper bar sells for 3 coins and you got a crafting exp out of it. Given how easy it is to toss a few drills on a copper node and how abundant they are, its a great way to max crafting and make bank

It's worth noting that currently with the updates, the xbox game pass Core Keeper is not compatible with the Steam version (YET). My friend and I figured that out yesterday the hard way lol.. the good news is, because of the delay in playing, I found this channel and am enjoying the videos! Thanks dude. #EnterTheMadhouse

Do you know if they plan on adding any additional starting summoner weapons? My biggest gripe so far is the very very limited arsenal when all the other classes have so many other options :(

this is my biggest problem with the summoner also. there are currently only 3 summoner books in the entire game. I don't know for certain if more are coming but man I hope so.

For crafting the stone biges are great option. You will get lot stone by exploring The Forrgoten Ruins and I have leveled crafting from 70 to 100 and used only like 6k stone.

Do you have to start out as a warlock class in the character creation or just switch to it?

you can switch to it any time. just equip a summoning book and you're good to go.

the "not valid" listing are countries where the code I got is not valid, despite Gamepass being available. So its all the areas where gamepass isn't available AND the countries listed. I dont know why Microsoft made that limitation, but its in the fine print. So I figured I'd mention it.
