I have the original Mongoose Hardcover version, so wow and entire fleets in 1/3000 scale. The main thing they did wrong is Corsairs & Zeroes really, should have been a mix of TBD's/Wildcats for US Navy, & Zero/Kate's for the IJN.

Interesting to see you have warping too, my Northampton was really bad. The remainder of the cruisers had slight warping. My Warspite, Arizona and Altmark were fine as were the battleship/carrier in the Royal Navy box but again the cruisers were warped with the Edinburgh being quite bad. The destroyers in the RN box were fine too, can’t say about main box as they were all missing! However Warlord are sorting replacements. Little disappointing but nothing too major, just frustrating and the significant warping. Your thoughts?

I like the idea of this game far more than Cruel Seas, for the same reason I'd play Armada over X-Wing. I do have questions regarding how they will handle future ship releases (especially the sister ships for those already planned like Musashi, Tirpitz, or Gneisenau). Also curious how they'll handle the release of Akagi, Kaga, Hiryu, and Soryu or Enterprise, Yorktown, and Hornet. Will they be sold individually or as a group? I also am not too thrilled with any of the navy starter packs, with the exception of the Kriegsmarine. The ship choices on the others were not that exciting...
