I love camping in the Fall! My Mom and 3 aunts are coming to visit next month and they want us to take them out in the RV, so Phillip and I are going to sleep in a tent. I'm excited! Phillip not so much...😂 I didn't realize how much I missed tent camping until I started watching your videos. Your space always looks so cozy. Love the chandelier! The older I get the more I can appreciate just being outside in nature, bonding with the elements. Those lights are really neat! You are so brave and inspiring #mysoulsista 🥰

@theblissfulbeauty_ Coody’s are very nice! I just purchased a similar tent of theirs off Amazon for almost half the price that I’ll be camping in a couple weeks. I know camping in the rain is a HUGE thing in the Asian Camping community which I love. But it’s the setting up & tearing down in it that makes it not desirable for me. And the drying out of a wet tent especially a “canvas” tent or gear period is a lot. But yeah Coody’s & RBM make amazing cabin tents and I do plan on getting one of the two room tents. Get you a hammock and a book and hang it app in one of those trees next to your tent, and it'll occupy your time of before you go to sleep. It's very nice or you can take your hammock to a park. Next to water and just hang your hammock in a tree. That's what I do I love it.I think you would enjoy it

I wanted to know what section you found your lights that you hung all around your camp area, you said you found them at home depot, l looked it was unable to locate them. Also were they battery operated. I love your ambiance.

I think it'll vary from store to store but what you could do is pull up the Home Depot website select your home store or the one you will shop at, search for the light and it will tell you which aisle it's located on. It's typically on the aisle where you find the lights construction workers use. Im glad you like the ambiance, thank you!

@lupitadamian9062 The one I have is the large 5-6 person tent. Now I don't believe it will fit 3 people comfortably not unless you are sleeping on the floor of the tent in a sleeping bag. You may be able to get 2 cots or 2 twin air mattress in it.

One is a canopy the smaller one of course is an actual tent although I guess you could use the canopy as a sleeping tent, it just doesn't have a floor and marketed as such.The reason why I choose to set it up or use it in this way is to protect the actual tent from getting stained. There is something that falls from trees that stains the fabric.I don't care if it stains the canopy since I may never use it as my actual tent. Secondly, to give protection in case it gets windy or rains. It's almost like having an overhead tarp to provide covering and as an awning to give protection from the sun & to provide shade and keep the tent cooler as well as adding additional living space. And lastly, it's different and I thought it'd be super cute!.

May I ask. Why do you have a tent inside a tent? Is the smaller tent meant to be like a bedroom?

@ashleyjones8716 The bigger tent is actually a canopy or a sunshade. But you could use it as a tent. It just doesn't have built in flooring. So from your perspective, the smaller tent you can say is serving as a bedroom persè. Im using it as a covering for one to protect the smaller tent from all the stuff that fall from the trees that stains, added protection from the wind and or if it rained be/c the weather for some reason will change quickly (typically rain) and for aesthetics. Im always thinking of different ways to set up. ☺

I've been camping since I was eleven years old. At first watching you shop I was skeptical, but watching you set up your camp site, I realized this lady has it going on. My one concern was you not pegging down your tents. That could be dangerous in high winds. Will continue to follow you.

I’ve been an RV camper and sometimes SUV camper if I’m fishing for years. I loveeeee❤❤ your tent camping set up. I wish this video was around when I was in the military ( Army) because I hated sleeping in my tent ( it was miserable and not comfortable) and I still have it. Thank you for a great video! @stebbblev6612 Girl I hear you! That was my first experience with camping in the military too, and I know exactly what you mean. The set up makes all the difference! Im not sure about you but we were at least 15 deep in one tent whenever we went to the field. That BIG OLE Army green what, 20/30 person tent. Man, those were the days.

@ girl, they didn’t want us sleeping under that ole Army green tent together when we went to the field. They made us purchase our own pup tent and set everything up ourselves and this was the early 90’s at my duty station. And we didn’t have a cot either until I got deployed to Haiti where we were 100 deep (lol) under the big ole green tent with a cot ( which I still have my cot). Sis, keep making those videos. I’m thinking now about doing a day camp without the RV but with my suv and tent. Thank you again,❤️

I love this set up, this is what I’ve been wanting to do. I’ve been looking at the beehive setup but they are about $1200. I did just buy an awning like your bit mine didn’t come with a screen. What brand is your awning/ screen room?

@katrinalryan Ok girl let me share the link with you on the canopy be/c it's $23 on Amazon. I ended up buying couple of them because I know once people find it they are going to be gone or the price is going to go up like that OZ Trail mesh screen canopy. It comes with 2 side walls and 4 mesh screens. If you purchase 2 of them you can use the sidewalls from the extra canopy to enclose the whole thing. I truly believe that we all have dreams and I think we should pursue them. You are an architect, a designer a creator of tents you turn them into a home. I honestly think that you should pursue your dream turn it into reality just watching you showing your talent as a strong, Black independent woman with a purpose doing something positive could make a difference in this world so please do not take any hostages release your dream into a reality.
