From all of us at Oregon Episcopal School, we wish you a beautiful holiday season with your friends and family. Looking forward to seeing you in the new year.
Message from Head of School The Rev. Michael Spencer:
Hello, everyone and greetings from OES. Here on campus, things are pretty quiet as we settle into December break and the confluence of so many wonderful holiday traditions. It is a special and magical time of the year. Whether you are celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, the approaching winter solstice, or simply marking the ending of one year and the beginning of another, this is a time for reflection, a time when nature invites us to pause and look for the light. The spiritual wisdom of humanity echoes a universal message: the reminder that light overcomes darkness, that beauty is born in the midst of imperfection, and that we are all called to be bearers of the light. As we prepare to celebrate a season of peace, and joy, and love, I am so thankful for the light of this School, of this community: the OES light that shines here and in the world. Thank you for shining your light. We wish you and your family Happy Holidays and a peaceful, fruitful, and joyful New Year!
