Pro Tip: When your nation is already the number 1 great power and if it is OP you can litterally just send ultimatum to weak nations which they will accept it with no doubt. This saves your money and men which you will probly use against bigger nations. I do this when I'm trying to colonize the world in the scenario 1440 and there are these annoying tribal nations. P.S. I appreciate the fact that you dont get bored in the late game where your nation is really OP

Tribal nations are easy to conquer, as you just need 1,5x their army and a border with them. Demand all their territories, and they will (in most cases) accept. I played as Flanders, and demanded all the Cherokee Territory with 2k soldiers. They gave in

As playing Japan i was number one and sent an ultimatum to China and it worked. Not at the beginning though. After like 3 wars i sent the ultimatum when they were number 11.

It's very annoying when you give your future enemy time, my strat is to have at least 20 relation, it can give me time to get at least 5k each province. Poland has a geographical disadvantage, but the government has a good enough strategy to (sometimes) defend itself long enough to drain the enemies military, then they retaliate against the enemy (except far nations across an ocean, sometimes they don't even retaliate) straight to sicko mode ones they land on the coast.

Lol, i was playing as United Kingdom. And conquered France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Libya, norway, Sweden, Turkey and some more countries I don't remember :P I formed Union with Poland. And was good friends with russia I once did a strategic thing. Since I didn't have any colonies in American continent.I wanted some there.. USA and Canada were at war. As they both are big nations, I knew they finished each others army, I took 100k troops and took Canada, USA and Mexico too.. Since it had been defending its South borders cause of war and didn't have any troops north.. Hehe Boi.. ;)
