WARMING UP YOUR HORSE: KATIE

Hey guys I'm just telling you how I warm up my horse and also just saying but I'm not a big fancy trainer or anything this is just my advice to you. the leaning forward is to encourage the horse move forward/faster. Also she is not leaning on the horse neck she is simply shifting weight towards the front of the saddle. It looks like she is because her hands are on the horses neck but the reason for the hands on his neck is to steady her hands as some horses respond to even the littlest tug. I hope you now understand the reason for her leaning forward. :)

does every horse need a tie down and drop nose band?

Not every horses needs a tie down. If you have a horse that holds his head really high or something like that it is good to have one. Also you may want to use one if you are roping cause it will give them a little bit of something to brace themselves against. And the drop nose band is because Scooby uses a hackamore and most hackamores have a lower nose band. Thank you for your comment and we are so sorry to be so late replying.
