This is an unboxing video of my new Warn VR EVO 12-S winch. Also, will tell you my plans for the build out of my Toyota Tundra.

I ordered the factor55 ultra hook as well but held off on the fairlead. Will hold off longer. Please do a video once you get it installed if you have not already (will go check your page out now)

Hey there, yeah it’s been installed for some time now…but haven’t had to use it yet though. I’m going to be doing a recovery video in the near future with a recover product company so keep an eye out for that.

I have the C4 Overland on order as well, Did you happen to have a picture of where you mounted the control box?

Hi, the controller fit in its normal spot on top of the winch. I didn't have to relocate anything, for a Tundra at least. I helped someone install it on a Tacoma and we did have to relocate right next to the winch inside the bumper.

@@prospectoverland Thanks, I have a Tundra also can't wait to get the Bumper, Are you able to easily connect the remote control wire. It doesn't look like there is much room to manipulate the clutch let alone connect the control wire?

Can i relocate the top box of the warn?

You can, the winch is designed to be able to do that. I ended up not having to do that surprisingly so I don’t have personal experience moving it.

@@chitstirrerhaha okay. The GFC I had, none….the four wheel camper, some but the Sherpa roof rack got rid of it all.

Install went great. Ended up not having to remote mount the winch control box. Still haven't needed to use it.... but always happy to have it on the truck and ready if needed.
