A lot of movies people already own, but no doubt that packaging with the WB shield clasp will entice many collectors. Pretty awesome value for a newbie who don't own the movies already. ✌

Exactly. It was more fun playing my "Replace That Movie" with titles that haven't even been released on 4K yet. They would make a lot more sales to collectors with more exclusive 4K titles. This one may just appeal to people who are just getting into collecting or want to collect box sets. But yea....

I think WB got it wrong. So many titles already out on 4K. Except for the ones just released or about to be released. If you are already a 4K collector and love all different genres you probably have quite a few of these. in my case I already have 9 of these. 8 of these I don't own in any form of physical media. A few of those I would need to see again and then there are some I just didn't enjoy enough to own. If I could take the 9 out that I already have I would replace the with Bonnie and Clyde, The Great Race, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Amadeus (theatrical and director's cuts) ,Dog Day Afternoon, Superman II (both Lester and Donner cuts) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Ben-Hur and White Heat (just to name a few). IMHO Columbia has done a better job with their 4K Classics and they don't double dip with titles already out there. They even ash the collectors what they would like tosee on 4K from a list of titles. (What a concept!) The flip side of all this would be to people who have only a few or none of these films and they recently bought a 4K Player TV AND Speakers and this will introduce them to the audio and visual aspects and impress them enough to collect more.

I agree Huckster: I would bite at $250.00 but not 3. I think they are just going to see how they sell at the high price but will have to come down in about 4 to 6 months. "A Color Purple" I remember this movie in the theater. I fell asleep af the ten-minute mark........
