Ridley Scott has made an anticipation movie. Everything you see in this film will be made at the end of this century. Some are existing already. robotics, artificial intelligence, cities overcrowded, multinationals all powerful, climate, new languages, the disappearance of animal species, etc ... and who knows? cars flying ! R. Scott has signed a true masterpiece.
@Winterhe4rt8 жыл бұрын
also remember this is based of a book from 1968. P. K. Dick was probably even more visionary than Ridley Scott.

Dude, you're a genius, that would be amazing~ I'm hoping they can still do a Batman Beyond film in the DCEU. Get old Ben Affleck and some young actor who sorta looks like a young Ben Affleck and then all we've need is a a good cyberpunk director.

kick3n3mini for fan service, I rather have Michael Keaton as old man batman. Imagine him with a grisly beard?
@kick3n3mini7 жыл бұрын
Michael Keaton would definitely be great but, I have faith in an older Ben Affleck playing old Bruce. Now if it was separated from the DCEU then definitely Keaton cos, he's got the old Bruce look and the acting chops. Only reason Keaton wouldn't work is cos, he looks nothing like young DCEU Bruce or middle-aged DCEU Bruce.

I first watched Blade Runner on Feb 2013. It was a Final Cut DVD I bought online....since then I've been studying this movie masterpiece and fell in love with it both emotionally and intellectually, this is my most favourite Ridley Scott film......and bought 2 more Final Cut DVDs, a Tamil Language version VCD, the 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-Ray ( Director's Cut ) and ofcourse the 'Do Andriods dream of electric sheep' by Philip K.Dick ( Hardcover ). I would love get this limited edition spinner....But I don't think it is available here in India.... For me Blade Runner is the Second greatest Sci-Fi film of all time behind 2001: A Space Odyssey ( 1968 ) by Stanley Kubrick

The Beatles set the standards for all Rock n' Roll that followed them, and Blade Runner set the stage for a new science fiction. Like the books of Margaret Atwood, Ridley Scott took was is about our world, stretched it a little bit, and gave us a dark view of our future.

The one thing odd to me in The Final Cut is they went to lengths to clean up this and that and the other thing. But Zhora has high heel boots on when Deckard starts chasing her. They didn't bother trying to replace the stunt woman's flat boots when Joanna Cassidy’s face has been superimposed over the stunt woman’s. I guess you gotta stop at a certain point. But to me the wig and boots were the most obvious. I'm glad they made the effort to release all versions in one form or another.

I have the HD DVD special edition and I received another as a gift that adorns my shelf still in shrink wrap. I'm happy with what I have now. And yes, I agree with others, the trailer does not at all feel like the movie and doesn't do it justice. Anyone getting hyped over Blade Runner 2 will have to bear one thing in mind; If Ridley Scott is involved, his vision of Deckard being a replicant will be endorsed. Original creators never have their original ideas pissed on. Like Scott, I also like him being a replicant. It's way more deeper and meaningful. PS His infamous eye glint happens to be in every cut ever made. Despite conflict by ignorance, it can only be interpreted one way.
