Yeah, but I kinda wish he had more screen time after arriving on Arrakis. They set him up well to be a polar opposite of Paul, but they didn't do much with him once he took over from Rabban. But I do like that they gave him some good qualities, such as his sense of honor, respect for opponents, and desire for a fair fight.

The last fight between those two was one of the most realistic looking 1 on 1 combat scenes ive ever seen in a movie.. it looked spot on like a real fight between two actual rivals. nothing was off put, every blow look as if it actually landed and hurted. well done Denis V.

You’ve gotta give credit to the actors as well. They are the ones actually fighting. They learned to fight and practiced a ton in order to do the fight themselves, no stunt doubles. But yeah the choreography was spot on. Their skill shines through while the fight is still “dirty” like it would be IRL.

Man those two mirror each other so well in the film. You can see it just before the fight scene where Paul uses his spiritual subjugation and Rautha is taken aback but is interested because that is the power he is seeking for. Paul isn’t the only one with that ability both Reverend Mother are capable as well as the infant. The spiritual aspect of the film is a nice touch. I wanted them to dive more into it but I guess I’m reading the novel

He was terrifying in the movie even before the arena scene, just from his movements and expression. Seeing those dead eyes that light up during a kill marked the traits of a Harkonnen, and that unbearable tension in that scene where he took up the knife...was quite an experience

The last 30 mins of this movie were so epic I could barely breathe! Already seen it twice would definitely go again to see it on the big screen before it’s out of theaters

This movie rocked so hard. If you read the book and imagined it for years, this one went straight to the cerebellum.
