Dear Fr Warner thank you for explaining the start of Ecclesiastes so clearly. It teaches us wisdom by highlighting a man's pursuit of happiness in myriad forms, only to come to the same conclusion that life is transient & void of meaning - everything we do is vanity, empty, futile & short-lived without God. Godbless & heal you. 🙏 💕

We see in today's reading from Ecclesiastes, Vanity of vanities, all is vanity, what does man gain by toiling under the sun, whatever it is will not remain forever,it passes to some one else,so seek for something that will last, that is the kingdom of God, that is something that will last forever. Thanks, Father for your teaching.God bless you and heal you.

Thanks for the spiritually uplifting reflection based on today's First Reading. The Teacher shows us the foolishness of a life without its proper perspective. Life is like a whiff of smoke. But it should not lead us to asceticism or licientiosness but to Humility in accepting and using the Gifts given to us by God. We need to grapple with the implications of Reality that we are faced with Nothing seems to change very much in this seemingly unending cycle of nature.May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner.God bless you and protect you always. 🙏

Good morning ☀️ Thankyou Father for the wonderful insight into this teaching as definitely it's not an easy one for many of us to understand, for sure. But now I see it in a positive way. You definitely are blessed with the wisdom of explaining scripture in the most simple way . Thankyou again and have a blessed day 💕

Thank you Fr. Warner for today's introduction and reflection on the Book of Ecclesiastes. I just finished reading four chapters of the book, the next four I will read in the afternoon and the remaining four before going to bed. The author may be suffering from some sort of depression but on reading, it is so full of wisdom and God's love. Fr. with your daily scripture text and listening to your teaching has made scripture reading more interesting, especially, the Old Testament. Thank you Fr. for your words of wisdom, nourishing our souls and drawing us closer to GOD. Praying for you and parents, for your healing and good health. God be with you always. AMEN!

Teacher was depressed or had an headache!!! In my young days, I felt this book is misleading, discouraging. After studying and going through many interpretations, I found this book is an eye opener to those who run after the world, hoard wealth, position and feel satisfied, whereas nothing, no situation is permanent. Yes, before grasping all gone. I am comfortable with the teaching and prayer of Lord Jesus " we are in this world, but not of this world ". We are Pilgrims, journey towards our eternal destination, leaving everything and everyone in this temporary world. Beautifully explained Fr., taking a well balanced middle path, to live this book sensibly. Interesting, thank you Fr.

Thanks for the insights in understanding today's scriptures, heard this reading many times felt the author venting his observation, but in real sense understood the reason behind the sayings. Difficult to explain hence very few preachers make an attempt to spell it out loud. God bless you fr Warner with good health of mind and body always.
