Thank you Fr.Warner for giving us a detailed enumeration of The Seven Sorrows of Our Lady. Mother Mary makes space in her heart for us and The Whole Church. Mother Mary is a personal gift of Jesus to us.At the foot of the Cross, Jesus bequeathed to us His most Precious Possession- - His Mother to be Our Mother. Our Lady willingly accepted the sorrows and challenges in her life and participated in the salvific Mission of Her Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you Fr Warner for this beautiful reflection on the 7 sorrows of our Lady. When we gaze on this image of Our Lady, her sorrow is very palpable. Also the way you have linked each sorrow of Our Lady to the relevant verse in the gospel is very well done and shows your attention to minute details. Dear Fr Warner, the image of Our Lady with 7 swords piercing her heart, evokes feelings of deep sadness when we gaze upon it. Thank you for your beautifully compiled reflection today on the Memorial of today's feast. In life we face trials & sorrows - often we want to give up, but Mary teaches us to accept these challenges & face them with courage & perseverance.
