Actually OOR was the opening act for Ed Sheeran Divide Tour Asia last year. And this video called "symbiosis mutualism"😂

It really is awesome! This isn't their first rodeo together though. Years ago OOR had an interview with Ed saying how much they wanted to collaborate not only with him but other bands from the states. If you look at Taka's IG you'll see pictures of him and Ed hanging out 😁

@@rismadeco no....You can literally hear the echo reverberating through the stadium when they sing, and the crowd clapping. You can't pick that up and just edit out the crowd. Thats not how it works. That and u do hear them cheer when Taka asks for hype.

Taka can overpower it with his voice but he just blended it perfectly with a lower tone. What a humble and perfect guy indeed!
Taka is a very humble person. He could sing it with his powerful voice but he didn’t do it. He doesn’t want to overpower the voice of Ed. Good job Taka! 👏🏻

well its a One Ok Rock concert already. So why would he overpower another person's own song. which I understand why U said it cuz, yeah some artists just dont wanna give spotlights to others. But his voice blended well with Ed's song none the less. This was a unique collab by both.

@@KZbin_Achilles I mean, obviously you are entitled to your opinion, but Taka's charisma is a thousand times bigger than Ed's. I think they just compete in totally different leagues. Ed is a solo act, Taka is part of a band. But I still think in a solo vs battle Taka would wipe the floor with Ed. Easily.

@@newpairofboots As someone here pointed out, if he completed a harmony he would have obscured Ed's vocals. He sang lower to compliment Ed's vocals, not to overtake it. I personally feel the song would have been better if Ryota didn't play at all.

Concerts of Japanese acts usually get recorded so we can watch on TV (because tv crews record it) and DVD/Blu-ray so that is why none record fancams during concerts. Edit: korean artists who have concerts and performing in japan with japanese discographies also has their concerts recorded but since the viewers are also many from outside of japan, so yeah some people sneak fancams lol.

one ok rockのライブに行きたくて行きたくて、でも全く当たらなくて初めて行けたライブがこの日でした。 エドの日本でのツアーも当たらずにショックを受けていた時もあったので、ゲストでエドが出てきてタカと歌っているのを生で聞いた時本当に嬉しくて涙が出ました。 この日セトリにはないwherever you areも2人で歌ってくれて言葉では表し切れないほど幸せだったのを覚えています。 うまく言葉にすることはできないけれど 私の人生の中で確実に最高な1日でした

every concert in japan is like this. they have a rule of no phones, no cameras, or other recording devices so that the audience can fully enjoy the performance in the moment.

I love how OOR's performance here represents the quality of whole band, TTR instrumentation, not only Taka's vocal.
There are no phones bc in Japan they're not allowed to record the concerts. It's a good thing tho, people can really enjoy the performances

あの時、エドが登場した時、、 自分の興奮と会場の興奮、、 みーーんなの興奮状態が同じで。 その前のワンオクみんなのMCも憎らしく上手くて素晴らしかったんだけど笑。 本当にエドとのコラボを聞けるなんて大興奮大感激だったなぁ。。 wherever you areも2人の綺麗な声で本当に感動するから早く見たいです!!!

Can we appreciate how genuine ed and taka both are? Ed literally complimented taka after the song and taka's mic picked it up, so he removed his in-ear to hear what ed had to say, then smiled so bright when he heard lol
