This upsets me. I was a licensed LPN due to a cancee diagnosis i spent 6 years recovering. I no longer qualified for my license however I am qualified to work as a HCA . The government alloted a couple million dollars to help HCAs fast track through the program. When i inquired about a $300.00 fee to join the board of HCAs i was denied that $300.00 .There is compassionate nurses out there that cant afford the education to get reinstated. 😢

In B.C. they completely shut down hospitals for lack of staff and home care staff call in sick if there is inclement weather.

NS, dad had to wait 3 months for a doctor visit. He couldn’t walk and had a crushed disk in his back. 3 months! Then another 4 to see a specialist and then another 5 for surgery. Alberta is by far not in the worst shape. Not the worst shouldn’t be the target but with the confines we have within the Alberta Heath Act we aren’t the worst.

In bc they fired thousands who had acquired immunity through front line exposure to ‘the thing’ . Because they wouldn’t pretend that 100’s of years of proof that of course you can develop immunity naturally through infection and overcoming it as was proven over hundreds of years through smallpox exposure to it or something similar . I just saw one who's been here just a year...psychiatrist..she was not about to stick around to deal with anti-science politics when she doles out medications the freaks don't understand.
