Thanks my guy! I prefer natural but there are times I use enhancements as well usually at customers request. With social media things have changed. They are asking for enhancements now and we have to put our personal preference to the side so that the customer is pleased when they leave the shop. Thanks for watching. And great comment

The open lever no guard kind of threw me for a loop when you set in the second guideline. Then you went with a zero guard open, but I think I've figured out why you did that, I know Andis guards cut a bit different and the Masters do open up longer. But man, you are talented, I saw your live with Bossio, you're an inspiration for barbers.

I absolutely love your videos, I'm in cosmetology school and we hardly learn men's cuts let alone ones that look this fire. Thank you for being so detailed and sharing your craft!!!! So the clippers that I got with my kit for school don't open and close. When I graduate I want to get some that do that, what are some of the best but also fairly inexpensive brands. Also when you say open and closed which is shortest and which is longest. Thank you for all your help!

You are a great instructor! Please show your clipper adjustments and guards you use more because it will only help those of us more by seeing you do step by step instructions. So you basically faded down, i just started cutting my hair so good looks and are the steps the same for a shadow fade just dont bald out with a trimmer? im going to give that a try you made it seem easy and gave lots of gems

Yessir that's how I started by cutting by myself. If I were doing a shadow fade I'd start with the clippers a quarter of the way closed. Closed is when the blade cuts its closest length! Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Any questions let me know

What I don’t understand is how you could blend the 0 guard with no guard. That doesn’t make sense to me. Wouldn’t it be the same exact thing as the line below with no guard ??

Nah a 0 guard can be different depending on the company but even a 0 guard is going to put a barrier between the blade and the hair so it’s going to be a bit longer. A lot of people use it just to have a super nice stretched out blend into the 1

You can order a wahl 0 guard online or get it at your local sallys or beauty supply. Shouldn't be more then a few dollars honestly. All wahl clippers use the same guards fam so you are good.
