Appsro didn't die to a pickaxe. I'm pretty sure he was stuck in the falling animation and therefore increasing his fall duration for the fall damage calculation. When his pickaxe broke whatever rock/stump was levitating him, he hit the ground and the game counted him as falling for that whole time, thus receiving highly fatal fall damage.

what a rollercoster of emotions this episode was, the highs of appsro winning the poker game and seeing the beautiful scenery to him losing the pteradon with neebs and simon rushing back to rescue the doedicurus but my heart sank when i saw neebs trying to put a diplo saddle onto the doedicurus

@@kitkami They know. It's called content and it was funny. I've been playing Ark for so long that I can solo taming a Quetz by luring it to the ground and trapping it. And YES, you can make them follow even when wild but probably less than 5% of ark players even know you can do that. No being carried around by an argy from someone else trying to shoot it, no chasing it, no net gun, no hanging from it... Just fly along near it and make it follow you down into a trap and lock it in.

Appsro. I know the explorer notes are jaring and annoying. But they give either your or your dino a 5 min 100% exp boost. 100% worth it to grab them and then hunt a dino for a quick spike in levels. :) P.S. Loving the content.

Couple of things, when Appsro died the second time he was "falling" while suspended, the game thought so anyway. When you tame stuff always try to shoot it in the face. Tranqs work better that way. Love you guys.

A tip guys incase you didn’t know making standing torches is much better then campfires for resources and heat also for a raft I’d use a actual fireplace if possible cause it provides more heat then a campfire and a standing torch by a good amount of

You guys should get the super cryo storage mod installed on the server. You can get a cryopod gun to shoot a tamed dino and put it in a pod without having to be too close to it. You won’t have to worry about a tame being stuck or glitched out, and it’s very useful in every possible situation.

The animals do better riding on ceilings or structures. Big dinos like pronto simple are programed not to ride. But before cryo pods I've moved Rex's and such but its best not a structure attached to the raft
