I tried some of my coworker’s because he swore by it. Granted, he doesn’t know anything about auto detailing, but he decided to try F11 in hopes that it would perform as it did in advertisements. I applied the product and it was done after the first wash. Luckily I didn’t buy it before trying a sample. Would have been an expensive mistake. One thing I will say is that it does enhance the vehicle’s gloss after application. I put it in the same category as a quick detailer and it should be sold as such.

@@Obsessioncardetailing so there's a lot of confusion around ceramic coatings. If his coating lost it's hydrophobicity, that doesn't mean it's failed necessarily. I've never seen a long term ceramic coating warranty that covers water beading. Here's the CSL 5 year warranty language: "We guarantee that the above coatings will not stain or become discoloured. But if they do, then we will repair the damaged area(s) and re-apply the coating without charge" Pretty lame if you ask me lol. The downfall to these warranties is there's realistically no way of knowing if a coating is still "working" once it loses it's hydrophobic properties. I've tried using paint depth gauges to watch the coating thickness over time for my customers, but it leaves a lot to be desired

#truth. complete gimmicky overpriced trash. Armorall ceramic wash soap for 8.99$ has more long term gloss and protection than F11. they should be sued for false advertising until they reformulate their product to actually do something! they should be banned from the detailing industry. thanks for always being honest and thorough. you are a great person and really cool for doing what you do. as a detailer, it is tough to recommend products with so many that just lie. always be honest with clients and share realistic results. keep it up thumb

I really like F11 for cleaning bugs off my windshield. It doesn’t streak at all and and leaves a layer to resist buildup of grime. I am however using it every day during the summer, so durability isn’t a concern

I appreciate the content, but not real world. I don’t expose my vehicle to such hard chemicals for cleaning unless I’m stripping all coatings to start fresh, de-iron, claybar, wax, and finish coat. I do want to try some other coatings, but I have used F11 before and I liked it. It kept my car clean for a longer time, it made washing my car monumentally easier, and applying a fast coat every other wash was quick and easy. I didn’t use harsh soaps for my maintenance and didn’t have to. I might like the other tested products even more, so I’m not slamming any product, but more defending F11 as being pretty rad in my experience.

303 products for the win IMO. Cost to performance can't be beat overall. Their 303 protectant for vinyl/rubber/trim/etc. is outstanding. Will add years to the life of your tonneau covers and door/window seals. Also fiberglass boats/jetskis.

Love Tec 582. Got a gallon from you guys. Have been using it for almost a year. Even after 6 weeks of daily driving and sitting outside 24/7 it still holds up. After watching the 26 test and seeing how the Tec 580 ceramic coating did I decided to give it a try. After I apply it I'll use the Tec 582 occasionally as a drying aid to help the coating.

I’ve been using technicians choice for close to a year now and have been loving it! You can buy it in a gallon for a little more than beadmaker but it offers a significant amount of protection for just being a detail spray and is just as slick. It’s my favorite drying aid and coating topper out there right now

ive been down the detailing rabbit hole. Tec582 is hands down one of the best values for spray sealants out there. You can get a gallon of this stuff for the price of many other spray sealants that come in 16oz sizes. Not only that but the durability is very comparable. Give it a shot, its excellent value

I totally agree with other comments that F11 sucks. I "drank the Koolaid" and bought it about 1 1/2 years ago. I had to put on multiple coats even after clay bar. The F11 product did look good on my Mercedes AMG C43 but it only lasted a couple weeks at best. I switched to Adams Ceramic Coating Spray and it was easy to apply. It also took about 3 coats to get an even looking shine but with the Adams a very little goes a long way. I used much more F11 to get the correct even looking coverage I needed. The Adams Ceramic lasted about 4 months even during the harsh winters with road salt where I live in SW Pennsylvania. I haven't yet tried the 303 but I am a firm believer in the Adams. I"ve also used McGuiar's Gold Carnuba Wax and it looked great but was much more work to apply than either the F11 or Adams. The McGuiar's did have a nice depth of shine after applying 2-3 coats that I didn't seem to get with either the F11 or even the Adams. Overall, the McGuiar's looked the best but didn't last very long maybe 3-4 weeks. Also, the Adams didn't feel as "slick" as the McGuiar's but did make water bead and run off very well. For me the Adams is the clear winner if you're looking for a long lasting protectant that looks very good. Does anyone know if you can use a ceramic coating after applying wax?

My take on clay pads is Meguiars Hybrid system. As for polishes, Meguiars Ultimate system. As for car wash shampoo, waxes and sealants, 3M Synthetic system (reapplication every 3 months or so). As for ceramic coatings, CQuartz UK (reapplication every year or so). The hybrid ceramic detaliers and spray waxes from any brand just suck, they get washed away really quick and you gotta keep applying them every 4 washes or so.

I put a coat of TW Seal n Shine topped with 303 that's 6 months old. I just put a second coat on my windows 2 days before. Yesterday I was driving home on the freeway from 80 miles away and was hit by a cloud burst. Everyone around me had their wipers going full speed while I didn't have to use my wipers at all. I was expecting my car to be covered in mud when I got home, but I was surprised that it was almost completely clean. I didn't even have to rinse it off or dry it when I got home. Usually the garage floor would have been covered in water dripping from my car, but since nothing stuck to the car, the floor was completely dry. 303 is great stuff. Amazon has a 3 bottle deal for $59, I opted for just 1 bottle since it was a new product and I wasn't sure how well it would work. I might just be picking up the 3 bottle pack. First I think I'll try some of the new TW 75 anniversary ceramic graphene wax.

I bought into f11 a year ago. Found right away it last 1 week then done. Just switched to turtle wax hybrid series. We will see how it goes

I'm almost curious if f11 is the same as FW1. That said, I did find the FW1 to be highly effective at cleaning a super porous 2005 Tacoma front bumper. And that was with a can that was probably 15 20 years old. I'm guessing it probably wasn't great for the paint, but it was the only thing I had that worked at the time.

The 303 Graphene is literally the worst product I've ever used. Stopped beading after two light washes. Not slick, hard to wipe down without hazing.

@@Primus54 Maybe there is a difference between a hood sitting in a garage and washed ten times in a day and real-world usage. All I can say is that if you drive your car daily up and down the highway exposing it to contaminants, sitting out in the sunshine, and a few rain showers for eight hours a day this product was really disappointing. I just about always use Turtle Wax and Dry after washing my truck. You're gonna towel dry your vehicle anyway. Why not squirt each panel two or three times with this $5 bottle. Only ads maybe 5 or so more minutes to dry it. On the rare instances where I might go two or three weeks without washing it the Wax and Dry still beads like crazy. All I know was that it was a huge disappointment for me. Seen similar comments from others.

OK Jason what do you use when you wash your car twice a week (I like it shinny) and its very dusty where I live, and the bugs are completely terrible, I want to try a ceramic coating but I'm not a pro like you

I cannot even tell you how awesome this is and how happy this makes me. I see F11 in so many client trunks and I make it a point to take the time to actually demonstrate how terrible the stuff is. Great video, from a company that actually cares what they promote. 👍👌✌
