My switches on my k100 need to be lubed again, the keys sound very clangy now. It’s been 2 years since I got it This looks like a good use case, I’ll try it

Other than that, How have you found it? I’m really liking it so far, I do keep hitting the G6 key mistaking it for [Cntrl] 😂

@@ItsTicTacticalit was my main keyboard for a while, however when I refitted my desk to be a flight/Space sim with joystick mounts I had to switch to a smaller 80% keyboard with a separate numpad. Overall it was very reliable, I didn’t have any complaints aside from ICue I did not like Corsair’s software it will sometimes crash and sometimes the drivers get unloaded my fan configuration changes too. So I haven’t returned to Corsair for 4 months. But seeing how u are just using stream deck legato software to program the Gkeys I might use it for my editting PC as the keyboard there is about to retire I currently use Nuphy field 75 he for gaming Redragon and Corsair for editting and general use

@@TheGlassSword ah nice! Your set up sounds great. I’d love a flight sim setup at some point. Yeah the G-keys are really good, I use my stream decks for everything 😂

@@ItsTicTactical that is my next thing to do for my set up as I will be setting up my Star Citizen key binds to my stream deck a long with some streaming functions as I saw some ppl were doing that with their setup. If you just want some beginner budget flight sticks I started with the thrustmaster 1600s I later moved on to VKB gladiator EVO flight sticks. Some alternatives to VKB can also be Logitech flight sim stuff and Thrustmaster does offer some higher end flight gear too If you get a bit too deep into flight sims Virpil is the next step up

@@TheGlassSword Oh hell yeah, that will be awesome. I have actually really fancied Star Citizen but never got round to it. Cheers bro, will keep that in mind 👌

Have one love it its a super nice keyboard but the optical keys are something to get used to, SOOOO touchy. Also what you can do is if your screaming or doing specific tasks you can make groups of your corsair profiles and once your in one of the groupings when you change profiles it stayes in that group that way you can get more than the 6 keys by switching between multiple profiles in (insert taske here).

@@ChzimpO Hey 👋 That’s a brilliant idea, I didn’t think of that. Still not used the profile switcher button yesterday but will get on that for sure! Thanks for the tips! 🙌

you can get the corsair k95 platinum with the same functions as this one used for roundabout 30€ and it has even more rgb ;-)

i wonder if i can do the same with mine, i've got the orignal k95 with the 18 macro keys would be good if corsair did allow the backwards compatibility

"Warning: Don't Buy a Stream Deck Until You See This!" ??? What are you talking about.. some extra macro keys don't make a stream deck.. if something, a "Stream Dock" (china's cheap version) is the replacement budget wise.
