Great review and loved the demo at the end. Very cool sounding instrument

Hi Wez, the Yamaha is a great choice. I play through an RC-30 loop station and for effects use a guitar Zoom pedal. In my studio i plug it into a Bose amp, but for live work a Cube 80x. good luck.

Cool, I play either straight into Mt microphone with reverb on my mixer (which is all it needs) but I can play it with my microphone plugged into my Boss Me-80 multiple effects pedal. I don't turn the violin on, but amplify it by playing it threw a Telefunkin m80 Super cardioid dynamic microphone. Like my AEG70 Electric acoustic guitar , it chews up 9v batteries which are $5 each! It is loud when not turned on, and having a Tascam Model 24 mixer, I find just running through a microphone works great.

You need to clean the rosin off your violin! Just really, really annoys me haha, and it slowly eats away at the varnish and paint and wood!

i thought you were going to come up with some big flaws with the sv-200 when i saw the title of your video. it worried me a bit because i've wanted an sv-200 since i 1st started playing, but it actually sounds as perfect as i wanted it to be. awhile back i started saving for it and i'll finally have the £1000 i need to order it in 3 weeks. is there any advice you can give me about equipment? i don't have an amp or anything at all basically. i want pretty much the best equipment so i could use it for whatever i feel like, with equipment for different effects and so on. i have no idea what to buy and i'm walking into it blind because it'll be the 1st electrical instrument i've ever bought or used

I am very grateful for the review. (!!) At the same time, if it was practiced and/or scripted before the final recording, I think it might have been about half as long, with the same content -- there were many pauses during speaking. Thank you.

You talk about the gap at 1:34 but I don't really get what you mean. Could you elaborate? Is it a problem? If it is how do I fix it?

+REG NATHAN REG NATHAN You'll also have to contact people selling electric guitars, pianos, lawn mowers, and lights. good luck getting everyone in the world to agree that electric versions of things need different names.
