Whenever I watch Winner's stage, they always add themselves to the song, decoration and choreography. They truly reflect themselves in their songs to the fullest. And all members do this. They all express and discuss their ideas in all steps of melody making, lyrics making, choreography and produce together as a group. They all shine individually because they are involved in the production process as a group, rather than the production of a single or two people. Their scenes seem more 'artistic' to me. It's like they're making art, which has been the case from the very beginning, even if we look at the songs they made in this program. I like groups where all members reflect themselves and where vocals and rap shine equally, without being overshadowed by each other. Just because YG is a hip-hop company, for example, they could feature Mino more, put in more rap parts, and get more support from the company. But they chose to let each of them shine individually and appear as a group, and I have great respect for them for that. It takes a lot of balls for them to reflect their own style despite the company they're in and their hip-hop elders lmao

Winner/Team A was never into flashy dances which makes them different or maybe you could say, get a little love because of that. They are theatrical and more into vibing as seen on Seunghoon's choreography. Yes he dances to the beat, but it is more on the message of the song. the thing is Winner finally found their own color within the last 2 eposode. With Kang Seung Yoon leadership, they became the success that YG didn't expect. I think YG wants to debut iKON because their charm was close to Bigbang. BI was a perfect leader and producer just like GD. I will always look at them and wish i could take back the time and make things right for them. But the fan votes won. Athough the Winner already have fans, the reality is they are getting older. Minos accident is a blessing in disguise because they pass the leadership to Yoon. Kang Seung Yoon being the youngest wrote such bop songs. Mino became known in variety shows and always take Winner him. But this group suffered a lot from YG. They were a big sucess in SK. But i think they were never a priority. Thats why I am surprised they chose to stay eventhough they can go and join together in other company like iKON.

For me Team A left more impression. ‘Go Up’ feels like a truly Team A’s song as whole. Each of them had their moment to shine. ‘Climax’ was a good song but it feels like it’s a B.I. and Bobby’s song than Team B’s song. Team B was full of talent kids but at that time they were a bit all over the place. That’s why I’m so glad they were able to debut later as iKon.

In the last episode, B.i made a comment about not wanting to see the final stages as a competition but as a concert that all 11 of them are putting on. And i never noticed how much it must have moved all the other boys till now (rewatching it with u). Bang Yedam, debuted as a Treasure member, and left as a soloist, and I know u know AkMu, but anyway, that's Lee Hi (Hi like Hello), she's the best RnB vocals in YG, left on YG last 2019, and joined AOMG on 2020. EDIT: YG ARTISTS CAN SING ENGLISH SONGS CLEARLY EVEN IF THEYRE NOT FLUENT IN SPEAKING ENGLISH, that's one of their strength, unlike other artists from other companies, even if they have been performing internationally, they can't make it clear when singing english.

Bang Yedam used to be in the group Treasure, now he is a soloist. His voice is amazing, he just released a new song with Aespa’s Winter called Officially Cool, you can check it out if u p’re interested. FYI Yedam, AKMU, and Lee Hi all came from different seasons of a competition called KPOPSTAR and were all recruited by YG afterward. LEE HI also has amazingggg songs, she is not from US at all, she is full Korean LOL 😝 her pronunciation when singing is just great!

10 years later Junhoe started in drama with her! In Bora Deborah. Junhoe is amazing.... He puts his mind to it and he does it all.... He was not a good singer in the beginning only wanting to dance.... But he improved and had one of the most different voices in kpop.... He learned guitar.... He wrote more than 200 poems and wants to publish a poetry book.... Worked out and built a great body, and wanted to ACT and now has been in more things than Chanwoo who started as a child actor! 47:42 Bang Yedam and AKMU competed in Kpop Star Season 2. AKMU won 1st place while Yedam in 2nd place. As the winner, AKMU was given a choice to join SM, YGE, or JYP and they chose YGE, and then YG scouted Yedam to be YGE's trainee. He trained for 6 years from 2013 until he debuted with Treasure in 2019 through yet another YG survival show Treasure Box but he left YG and the group in 2022. As for Lee Hi (read: Lee Ha-Yi), she competed in Kpop Star Season 1 along with Lee Seung Hoon/Hoony (Winner) and Koo Jun-hoe/Ju-ne (iKON) though Ju-ne didn't make it to top 10. She became the runner-up and signed with YG.

U should the know BIG 3 COMP. SM ENT. JYP YG They are called BIG 3 coz of their contributions in the Kpop Industry and started from scratch. So in the late 2020's HYBE/BIGHIT joined the BIG 3 and its now BIG 4.. YG where the artists have freedom. And no credits to be paid after training and debut unlike mostly Kpop Ent Comp did to their artists. YG also pays better than of those Big comp. Also now the HYBE becomes the richest ent comp bec of monopolizing the small labels,bought small labels and make it their subsidiaries. Also they are the least in payments for their artists reasons also they gain like 70/80% of their artists revenues. JYP is next to YG when it comes to artists shares/revenues then SM as third. So YG comp brand value is like 700M USD..

But all was beautiful in its time. They swept all the awards when they debuted, earning them the nickname rookie monster. But when Bigbang went on hiatus because of the military service, YG sent them to Japan and China because the market there is bigger than Korea to stabilize YG's finances. When they returned to Korea their MV bling bling was considered too American style that not represented Korean. in 2018 they reached the peak of success getting Daesang, the highest Korean music award beating BTS and Blackpink. But that year BI was also scandalized and left iKON. BI was so tired because at a young age he made a lot of songs at YG from ikon songs, Blackpink, winner and took too many illegal sleeping pills so when the incident iKON lost a lot of fans. Too sad iKON's journey. But one thing is that they are very talented.

That's NOT fair at all. Imagine you in a competition but your rival is debuted and the only one being regularly promoted in the public outside the show? Hell NAH. IT'S A SET-UP. That's why viewers thought they are the team to debut despite the overall lackluster performance during the show and because "Team A being older might not get another chance while Team B was still young" pity party. YG didn't expect for Team B to smash the competition from start to finish but it's too late he put them in too much disadvantage. Notice how YG tried to sabotage Team B couple times for Team A to catch up. Smh No amount of gaslighting and brainwashing will convince me that Team B wasn't robbed from an objective standpoint. It's the start of their sufferings because some think they shouldn't have existed because they "lost". The AUDACITY because Team B should have WON. Sorry for the rant but there's something very wrong when a group of talent moved literally everyone to their core, smashed the entire competition, and lost.
