Good morning 🌅, Very nice purchase, I no it’s probably to late, it might of been worth finding a wood turner they might of been interested in your off cuts, especially if you could find somebody who does segmented Woodturning, Back in the early 80s I had a contract over in Germany, which lasted for nearly a year, I turned a German house into a Georgian house, Doors Wayne skirting kitchenradiator surrounds , but in the process the property was being landscaped, and you wouldn’t believe it but it had steel fence posts, with 1 1/2 “ x 8” x 10’ Brazilian mahogany fencing, and the site thing is, I lost a lot of it, I did manage to bring back about 15 to 20 boards, they were chucking it in the skip chopping it up and burning it, a few months later I did manage to pick up antique table that had fire damage, where I replaced the Top with some of the mahogany, the table base cost me £200, I’ve got £1800 when the table went back into auction, good luck with your future projects, France
