To be fair Kevin, you’re right, it’s horrendous 🤮 We once stayed at B&B in Blackpool & found disco biscuits under the bed, holes in the doors etc etc, but we had nowhere else to stay, I’m sure the same b&b was on holidays from hell!! But this hostel is on another level 😂

Kev, I went to college in the 1970’s, the college commune room was decidedly awfully horrible, but looking back, maybe rather nostalgically, it was a palace compared with this hostel.

Hi for Tenerife most of the 5 star hotels are in Adeje area some crackers although some wee bit far out for me. Gran Canaria I would only consider Meloneras its the only resort that feels luxury kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4G9XniVmc5lgbc , Lanzarote playa blanca has some nice 5 star hotels but is very quiet resort. Corralejo is my fav in Fuerteventura but not been in any luxury hotels there. My number one choice of resort would prob be Adeje although Los Cris is my fav they only have few 4 star hotels there.

Pretty bad! However it's sort of like the places I stayed when backpacking around SE Asia over 25 years ago. They were all grotty/filthy, but cheap... I guess there's the odd place like that in Europe too as we can see!
