So, what would you say is a very good email automation software as far as 'splitting audiences', targeting them and keeping track? Also, I want a software that allows me to integrate 'a count down clock', accurately unsubscribe users, etc. All things that make life easier... What's your recommendations? And also many thanks for this informative video and your response. Judit M

Minus the countdown clock, I would recommend Mailerlite: jasonwhaling.com/MailerLite

Mailchimp shut down my account and all I was doing is offering a free ebook as a lead magnet. Was just trying to build a list for my consulting biz. Had to create a new account and that one got shut down too.

😣It's really not cool that they do that out of the blue.... MailerLite is a free solution worth checking out as an alternative.

I have an autoresponder sequence set up when someone signs on to my mailchimp. They receive a lead magnet after they opt in. But I notice that it often takes an hour before mailchimp delivers that lead magnet, which seems like it would be detrimental to list engagement. Does this sound correct? I can't find anything online about it. Wonder if there's some way to get that lead magnet delivery to be more instant. thanks, Jay
@JasonAWhaling4 жыл бұрын
An hour sounds like a really long time. It might be the connection between mailchimp and the landing page software... Your right to be concerned with the slow delivery time. That's not the first impression you want with a new subscriber ☹ (You can always have the lead magnet on the success/thank you page to make sure it's immediate)
@BioSoulIntegrationCenter4 жыл бұрын
@@JasonAWhaling thanks. It seems it's on the MailChimp end. I can see that an email is in the que waiting to be sent and for some reason it didn't get sent for an hour sometimes. Seems it either gets sent immediately or it takes an hour, nothing in between. I would deliver the lead magnet from the thank you page but i use double optin. Afraid majority of people won't actually make it on my list if they get the lead magnet before theyve actually confirmed. In any case i thought you might know something i don't know about what's happening in MailChimp autoresponder. Thanks for your reply.

It means collecting emails for other business, or just to spend affiliate promotions. Mailchimp is very active in scanning emails fro the links that are being shared. They know if someone is just collecting leads/doing affiliate promotions.

They arent collecting your business personal data in the same way other companies do. All autoreponders monitor your stats because they have to insure no one is spamming. That said it does give them a ton of insights that the rest of us don't get.
