probably inconsistent in colour as it was tinted at 4 different stores. Time will tell with these products, I used a top of the line product around my pool, its all mostly peeled off after 5 years.

Maxkil correct. An SW problem cause 5 stores did not even stock enough for one deck

I would have loved to know about whether or not it was COOLER, significantly cooler on the feet, than the product he usually used. Because if so, on small surfaces like walkway pavers, might be worth it.
@DJaquithFL6 жыл бұрын
It's a good product, so far. We live in Florida and the guys used this same product. I would probably suggest 3 coats for a virgin concrete deck. The only issues I've seen so far are: chlorine (pool products) will burn the color pigment out of this product, and in a couple places it appears the product has worn off on sharper end points of texturing. We just applied it less than 2 months ago.

I wish I found you before I hired a BAD painter a week and a half ago. One of the many issues is he used SW A100 on my pool deck and it is super slick when it gets wet. Can this product go directly over a fresh coat of A100?
@VC-Toronto7 жыл бұрын
In the "subtitles" it said you used 3 times more than if you had used the same companies stain, but in speaking to it you said you used 3 to 4 more gallons of this product versus had you used the stain. ?????? Have you ever thought of doing follow-ups on some of these new products, such as coming back after 1 year, 2 year etc, to document how they are holding up?

Great video on the product. I used the H&C Colortop stain and it came out great, the only issue I have is trying to keep it clean from dirt stains. Do you recommend a product to apply over the H&C stain (maybe a sealer) to make cleaning easier? Thanks!
@christinalehor4784 жыл бұрын
Derek Bell OMG I am having the same issue. It’s almost impossible to keep clean. Mud just stains it. I wonder if there is a sealer as well or some kind of product to help.

Have this product on my deck. What a disappointment! If anyone has any dirt on shoes or flip-flops or dog has dirt on paws, it stains the surface, unless you are there immediately to clean it with water and bleach solution. Very labor intensive for homeowners.

@@markkeller9214 then why do contractors haphazardly destroy porch and patio floors when they build your house? If there is no coating that you can put on it to make it pretty. My large front and back porches have all kinds of dings and chips from their nail guns and what not. Looking for something to make the floor look better, but that will not peel off. Does anyone have something that has lasted for more than five years without peeling off?

This product stains soooo easily. I’m talking dog paws, shoes, furniture, literally anything! and it will not come off. It’s so disappointing because it does reduces the temperature of the concrete which is awesome around the pool, but not worth it. Be aware!
@geotype554 жыл бұрын
5:1 diluted muriatic acid wash will remove those stains completely. I use an old push broom to apply. Just yesterday removed some BAD stains from wife's potted plants that stained the decking with rust/chemicals. Worked perfectly for me.

No offense but it's lack of experience , Spray and backrol. With cover on using a typical Graco fireproofing sprayer . Also if you have vapor drive and or hydrostatic water pressure you should prime with an epoxy, But depends on dew point and moisture content of the slab
