Republicans in the House and Senate, whether it's state or national, know that they can't win without cheating and suppression of the vote. Ken Paxton cheated 2.5 MILLION Harris County voters out of their LEGAL right to cast their votes because he was afraid of a loss for tRump. He's been under indictment and was recently served with articles of impeachment in the State House of Representatives. It's soooo fitting that the person he was inspired to do that for is now under federal indictment, and was impeached TWICE in the same term of office. McConnell could have PREVENTED much of the Orange Man's recent behavior by voting for conviction and removal from Office, after the FIRST impeachment trial. McConnell should be charged as an accessory, for everything tRump is accused of,in my opinion, because he enabled tRump to remain in Office after TWO IMPEACHMENT TRIALS!!!! Nixon resigned from Office rather than face the ignominy of an impeachment trial.

Wyoming's Sec. of state runs our elections. Last election the guy that got voted in indicated that he would protect our vote. I said "I don't need anyone to protect my vote. Hopefully they will be able to rebuild the snail mail system a bit here in the near future, back to or better than pre-DeJerk. I also hope that they will reopen some of the more rural sorting stations at the local levels. THERE is NO excuse for birthday card, bill or any other piece of mail to the next county or across town to be sent to a sorting location 18 hours away and then back before delivery. And I hope they make the responsible budget choice in the future that the USPS is NOT ALLOWED to purchase the naming rights to a stadium…or any other corporate “advertising.” Sad that the mail system was the only part of the govt pretty much paid for itself completely (equipment/wages/pensions/benefits) less than a decade ago before being fd with by the GOP.

Gov. (R-TX) Abbott decided that only one mail-in ballot box per county would be acceptable. He came to this conclusion one week before the 2016 election. Examine the geographical size of Texas counties. There are areas in Houston that have no public bus service.

I'm in Houston. The state also just took over the school system. HISD is the largest school system in Texas. The elected school board has been thrown out and replaced by a school board appointed by the gerrymandered republican legislature.

The govt targets low income neighborhoods and begins a systematic withdrawal and/or delay of basic services such as garbage removal, water and/or other infrastructure repairs, blocks public transportation which impacts the net income average of the community, to the point where the govt declares the community beyond repair and seizes all property under "eminent domain" statutes. So first they negatively impact the community causing the net income to take a dive, then declare the community beyond repair and officially condemn all properties. Then seize all properties they condemned.

when it comes to voting, ALL states should have the same exact rules, regulations, laws, what ever; it should be a federal thing, *_not_* an individual states thing. this is the *_united_* states of america; all states should be fully and wholly united on a federal level in regards to voting -- and voting should be made as easy, as simple, as efficient and as smoothly-running as possible. and any state governor, mayor, who ever, who interferes in that in ANY way, should get life in prison. NO parole, NO early release, NO exceptions. interfering in voting by ANY one should be a federal crime.
