Well our current media situation started when Bush Jr. was in office. He had a law passed that allowed one media corporation to own all the media in one location. In other words 'monopolies '. They can own every television station, radio station and newspapers in one city or town that spead for miles. Like let's say all of the Washington DC area. Or any other population center. Before that law was passed one media giant just couldn't own all those media in one local. Now we are witnessing the results of that change in the law.
