Would much much rather just have the markets crash 30% in a single day and it only takes 24 hours then to have it DRAG OUT over a long long period of 13 months. That is way way WAY too freaking long to take when everyone who is invested in the markets wants to see their positions go up over time NO ONE wants the markets to drag out a downturn for 13 long long months would MUCH rather it happen all at once in a single day and have the markets recover the day after and continue going in the direction that everybody wants the markets to go...UP not down.
