I agree if you have issues in your first marriage taking a second wife is not going to help you at all it’s not going to benefit your first marriage what it will benefit is the man not having to be in that miserable home 24 seven he can now split his time so he doesn’t have to deal with that sort of marriage most of the time. I find men who marry a second wife or even A third while they’re in a bad situation It’s from their own selfishness it shows that instead of investing his time and his emotion and sorting out the issues that he has in his first home he would rather just create a second home of peace this is a man who is showing that he lacks conflict resolution skills and possibly when you become his second wife and it hits the fan He May just look for a third

When I bring it up to my woman, she always asks so am I not good enough that that hurts my feelings why you need two women when I’m enough. Then I’ll tell her she is enough and then she’ll be like well. Why do you want another woman then And then I’ll be like because together you and I have eight kids and we’re trying to get businesses lifted off the ground and extra an pair of hands will help. I’ve been striving to get this thing going, and I really love her and the other person that’ll be beneficial to our union. Mind you the other woman has four kids as well 😅

The problem here is that you're allowing things you shouldn't. First, if you're polygynous, you don't need to provide any excuse or reason, women wouldn't understand anyway, no matter what you tell them. Second, as for being enough, this assumes that men only desire polygyny because something is wrong with the current wife, which is incorrect, but you're trapping yourself not recognizing the false premise. Last, allowing her to question or demand rather, a reason, you're allowing your authority as husband to be undermined which borders on disrespect.

This is the thing about polygamy when it comes to African descent people. Most of us look at polygamy through the values and social constructs of other people. And it just so happened all of these other people have been against us but that's a different story. Polygamy is not a African concept a Muslim concept it is a worldwide phenomenon. And it only was look at as a negative once people came in contact with the Christianity who are the Catholic Church. Polygamy or try to understand it in a pre-colonial context. This meant based upon the societies in Africa not Europe Asia or the Americas. But polygamy from an African concept and it was actually looked at as a method of creating wealth because the woman was always considered a man's wealth. This is why in Africa you had the bride price. I don't care what names you want to call it, polygamy, polygyny, or polyamory they are all European words with European definitions. They have European values and European judgment But who cares Just make it work for you. African descent people in the political economic and social conditions we find ourselves would be a little unbalanced thinking you had to have a certain amount of money. That's when you're looking at family wives and marriage for my economic perspective. This economic perspective never entered into the psyche of other people until they became commodities.

@@naturallyaishaj I'm going to be quite honest.... No I'm not but did you ever consider who gave you the different definitions. Who told you what polygamy was who told you what polygyny is? And these people who came up with these definitions have they ever got anything about African people correct? When we are trying to reconstruct ourselves I think it would be more advantageous to look at concepts from the perspective that's how they affect me. Not how other people who have totally different genetics interact with the same phenomenon. Anyway just like In polygamy it teaches you the value of not only listening but truly listening not just responding. When we do this practice were respecting those opinions. Because I think you were looking at it is an accurate statement instead of an overall philosophy. Yes you need money for polygamy you need money for marriage you need money for children but that doesn't stop people. And having money doesn't guarantee you a happy or successful marriage, it doesn't make you a successful parent. Thus it's not necessary for polygamy. it never has so you don't necessarily need it that is a real reality fact. We must learn to separate facts from doctrine, mythology, conditioning, and opinions. Now this is just my opinion but thinking you need money for polygamy it's just like thinking you need love for marriage. The people who believe in love for marriage has over a 50% divorce rate. For the African people it is worse. That's why you see all of these public bulshit polygamy couples with money don't make it. Literally the people doing it for sex have better long lasting relationships, then the religious no matter what religious you need money for polygamy crowd. It is hard for the dog to stop salivating at the sound of the Bell. But we must.

Depends on the situation sometimes. I know of a situation where wife number 1 could not have any children. Great wife but he divorced her and married some one else. Do you kick a spouse to the side for that? Second situation Marriage takes place wife can't have Children marriage to another sister takes place has children every one is ok.

@@outstandingpersonalrelationshi yes it could be a childhood trauma seeing my family turn apart by a women same age as my older sister and my mother ripped of what she has been working hard for ,hearing the betrayal my father done to his family for pleasure is something you don't just shake of,what pisse me of manny of this women are in vurnable sitting economical and being trained pleasing the man and his family in first place,i tried once for this type of marriage even thougth I was attracted in every way it felt empty as I couldn't trust a man who betrayed his wife and kids and sex however good can not keep a marriage, I dont recommend it
