Multiple reasons - not just valuation, but policy changes, change in options market which will reduce liquidity. They don't want to risk their money. See the case of Korea, when they increased the lot sizes, FIIs went out in 6 months. This will happen with India as well but the time will be shorter.

let me remind what this video is missing FIIs are of 2 types Institutional and Retail So Retail FIIs are still invested in Indian market But Institutional FIIs are reducing their portfolio from Indian markets slowly cause they don't wanna create panic selling They will sell off gradually and such that it doesn't raise any eyebrows The fact that the financials of companies is suffering and economy is inflated points straight towards Increase in RBI repo rate but even the RBI stated that it would be dangerous to raise now
