WARNING: Weird Facebook AI Art Scam...

There's something weird/creepy happening on social media that most people haven't noticed. AI Art is being used to trick people with inspirational, beautiful, creative works of art. There is an AI group for every hobby and niche now from home design, resin table casting, to woodworking. Many social media users find inspiration in these viral posts, but there's dark motivations behind this. This is a really bad thing that is devastating culture.

It's going to quickly become very, very, VERY important for legitimate artists to start banding together and doing at least 3-6 of the same things. What those things are aren't set in stone yet, but from my perspective they'll revolve around collectively fighting back, raising awareness, and using "Nightshade" and "Glaze" (IMO).

My homepage is plagued by those 'made it with my own hand' posts. Then there's load of pictures of Jesus in some weird situation (for instance stuck in a plane that's about to crash land) with the captions "Beautiful cabin crew 🌹" and "Scarlett Johansson 💋💋". It's always these two captions. They have hundreds of replies all saying "Amen".

I’m so damn tired of seeing those kids making wood and plastic trash from bottles. And everyone goes like ‘Zomg amazing’ . What a bunch of idiots seriously. Or they are bots themselves as well. At least they act like one I have to keep blocking all pages and they still show up. And as a real artist , I lost clients that do not want handmade authentic art anymore but ai art full with mistakes.

I found this scam few days ago. First I thought it was hilarious, but then I got upset that too many believe its real and engage adding these strangers. Imagine our elders telling us when we were growing up "DO not talk to strangers" and now they're the ones doing it. Huh!?

I've been getting these Ai arts on my feed just in the past few weeks. It started with weird Jesus ai arts, then just recently a kid making an animal/object out of trash. Though, I got a post on my feed that mocks these ai arts using ai art which I find funny. It involves a dog who built a kid out of trash.

Yup. As an award-winning author and artist who writes, edits, illustrates, formats, designs, publishes, and even crafts his own videos and website... my ORGANIC WORK... is utterly ignored. :) LOL. Like, seriously, one single algorithmically plagiarized image has been "engaged with" more than all 420,000+ words (and 250+ illustrations) of all three books I've already released. That's just how it be. I've accepted it because there's NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. The most I can do is just keep making my work, and continue to know that at least *I* am organic, legitimate, truthful, honest, and real. When I die, I'll be absolutely certain that I never simply typed in a bunch of keywords and called it "my work". Fugg THAT, lol! Anyhow. 'Nuff said. Peace off.

You'll laugh, but I just shared it to my utterly non-existent "followers" (LOL) on FB. :) Prior to 2019-2020, I had a very meager amount of people seeing my content. Maybe 100? 200? But now, it's utterly zero. I've been super hyper uber cancelled, mocked, blocked, trolled, and cajoled. I have to be honest, too: I DON'T GET IT. Like, seriously... I've been involved in production for 30+ years. THIRTY YEARS of acting, writing, directing, fight choreography, sound design (9000+ sounds crafted), video editing, V.O., electronic props, and plenty more. But now, I'm utterly invisible. It's weird, but as I said... I kinda just accept it and continue to generate exemplary work. That's just how I roll, suckahz! :D Once again, thanks for creating this video. There's a similar thing in Pokemon where fake leaks and fake news gets 30x the views as legitimate content. Also with Facebook its clear they don't care to enforce rules or have their own community notes since they lose all that engagement so they have to keep up bad actor content

Loving your videos honestly it's crazy how we're being fooled by AI. Im retired and spend my days here and in the kast 5 months ive seen the proliferation of AI images on Facebook it's frightening. I have a discerning eye (don't know how) I'm a '56 girl 😊 and noticed the first fake flower/bird/fake small living spaces, glass caves with snow, fruit bathroom accessories, fake mansions with luxury vehicles in the lounge, fake motorcycles/buses, today its was turtle aquariums, the coke bottle sculptures, vegetable sculptures, oh my goodness it's everywhere. Ive seen the comments and can't believe it, and feel especially sorry for the folks unaware or the power of AI and Photoshop, Adobe, Midjourney etc. I try to explain but it's futile occasionally someone says ok. Is it okay for me to post your videos on Facebook will I be banned for life? I was suspended for two weeks for checking a sc*mmer approaching the ladies lol. Those woe is me posts drive me crazy I want to go slap slap. Have spent hours googling fake ai images, taking screen shots etc, sharing on comments. I may be from the 50s but love learning and expanding my mind. Sorry for chatting so much, I live alone and it's just great finding your content I can't tell you how great!!

Sometimes I make the mistake of reading comments of random YT shorts, and depending on what community you're in, 85% of the comments is saying the same exact thing. My least favorite one is the "Is no one going to talk about _____" when literally everyone is talking about it. Architectural, crafty, and food communities are a major victim of this.

They aren't. I have seen dozens of highschool friend adds repost and comment these. Checking the profile on a lot of them shows real people having a history of organic facebook engagement. Same vanlife millennial that has curated their feed to just go "Wow" "Amazing" to every cottage core HGTV tinyhome that popped up before AI was a thing

Fun Fact: AI generated art often uses existing artwork as a reference without permission and as such isn't licensed under CC-BY-SA and cannot be used on specific websites without potential legal issues.

That's not the reason why it can't be licensed. Computer generations can't belong to anyone much like how animals taking camera pictures can't be licensed. The training from images without permission is stupid moral outrage since thats how every human artist learns
