Just fell into this Pokemon VGC cheating rabbithole. Now I also learned that it's against the rules to obtain Pokemon through cheats. I just thought there was a mechanic by the tournament organizers to give players the freedom to build whatever teams they want like Pokemon Showdown. Is this why like most of the top players' team are so similar or have a lot of similar Pokemons?

Collusion is awful i'm with you on that but in a world where they give it showdown rules with everything genned what actually changes? i use one controller that sends identical inputs to all of my 3DS consoles so i can hatch eggs without having to further cripple my arthritis hands by essentially playing the piano with how stretched out my fingers get when reaching across the consoles without the synced controller. am I a bad person for setting them up in that way? :( you know, since its 1 input going to 3 consoles... i cant tell if its cheating or not, i just wanna save my hands from more pain while breeding my competitive mons... :/

A lot of the hate sounds like “We have already won. So, why do you persist?” I can guess why, but am somewhat unsure to that as well. But, the reason I still play is I like the idea of what Pokemon is selling and would like that to match the reality. Instead of what this skip to the end culture of the present is trying to offer.

First off I'll say this i Hate Cheating there's no ifs or buts about it cheating is cheating Bad is Bad and cheats + Bad = Cheating is Bad Plus vis versa no matter how you spin it. The very definition of Truth Or Verity Is A true principle or belief, especially one of fundamental importance. Meaning whether it's feelings of someone's that got hurt does not make it okay two ever cheat plus it's not even a attack truth reveals things that are covered in lies it is not attack after all why would you get angry at someone that reveals the truth is sets you Free and to do better now that you know the truth of course I don't expect someone to change overnight but that still doesn't make it right for you to get angry towards someone just because you don't like the Truth they told you it doesn't change the fact that it's still the Truth. And the truth is the definition I used that I'd pasted it by looking up the meaning in Google and use some of the words from my own heart and most of these words I wrote down I either use the speaker function to put these words into text and some of them i did by typing. Not to mention the guy made a dumb comment about the upcoming Regulation H ruleset (which I heavily look forward to trying out) saying that Incineroar should’ve been banned in the upcoming ruleset. Incineroar ain’t even a Legendary or Paradox Pokémon in a ruleset that disallow such Pokémon. It’s a pretty bad look when he knows nothing about basic Pokémon rules and Pokémon eligibility. Not to mention that Incineroar’s not even that crazy in Singles especially when there’s crazier Pokémon that exist like Garganacl who might actually be pretty good now that a lot of the Pokémon that once gave it a hard time now getting banned in the upcoming Regulation H such as Urshifu, Ogerpon, Iron Bundle, and maybe some others that slipped through my mind like Ting-Lu.
