On the one hand I definitely agree as there is so much forgotten conflict when the media decides what ppl should care about. On the other hand and not a critique to your comment but to the ppl who attack other random ppl for not paying attention to everything, I’ve usually somewhat familiarised myself with different conflicts because I work in international law but presently I have paid most attention to Israel because my government in Australia is complicit and I take strong exception to that. But what I’ve found is certain things are so repugnant it has an impact on your own mental health and I know that’s super weak coming from a person who will likely never be subject to these things in my comfy Sydney house, but when I noticed this me and my autistic nature tried to understand it because I don’t normally get that emotional response more objectively review the legal issues and I think it must be our brains have evolved to deal with what’s going on in just our little communities and suddenly we are subject to all atrocities of the world and it’s too much sometimes. I do agree tho because it should be information available in digestible way so ppl can inform themselves without having to accept what ppl the media decides are worth knowing about

@@NANA-v7w5n indeed. I find that both sides win with such regular updates as these. The uninformed are now informed, and those who wish to remain informed get what they need. While these conflicts are all tragic and it does feel sometimes like the world is actively burning, I believe it's our civic duty to at least have a basic knowledge of current events so that our voice -- and our vote -- carries better weight.

Feedback: 1. Add timestamps, please! They're so useful for referencing. 2. "Confections"? How sweet! 3. Thank you for the video! (Edit: forgot to mention...) 4. I like the summary / hit list format, it's good to do these every once in a while imo. Not every time, though. 5. Could be useful to have links in the doobleydoo to videos that go more in depth on each of the subjects.

I love the format. Only unfortunate thing about the timing of this specific one is that the big developments of Israel turning its efforts toward Hezzbollah in earnest, and Ukraine destroying major Russian stockpiles, didn't make it in by the recording date. Which as a one-off is unfortunate, but if it becomes a series then it's no big deal and can make it in the next one.

It's possible, _possible_ mind, that the real purpose of the Kursk offensive was getting access to the Russian railway network control system. The one really big Ukranian strike on a Russian ammo depo last week was so large because they caught a train in the middle of unloading. If Ukraine got access to Russian rail scheduling in Kursk, the timing of that strike might have been deliberate. We won't know for sure unless it happens a couple more times.
