I come from an 80s, guitar virtuoso metal background (Yngwie Malmsteen was my guitar god and I used to play live covers of his music... and then went on to study classical guitar in college, and have gigged every style since, including my more flamenco oriented stuff at the moment). But I stumbled on these gals a year or two ago and love them and their music. Wonderful stuff, and so musical compared to much of the stuff we were rocking out to in the 80s.

I took a stab at the lyrics to melting: Take off your raincoat Baby I want to touch the skin The only way out from this cold unknowing Is to radiate like this Because you know my ways now And your making a fire in our house And it’s melting, melting, melting me down X2 You’re the only one I want you know I need you around No more armor, no anxiety And I’m ready to move over I’m receiving you now I’m the gold, your the alchemy That is melting, melting, melting me down X2 Because you know my ways now There a Phoenix fire burning in my house And it’s melting, melting, melting me down X3 Helping, helping, helping me out

Good lord man, can you imagine being a little baby and your mom is in this band and she and her friends are always singing to you in these exquisite harmonies? My infancy was not like that, I feel impoverished by comparison. Anyhoo...I have missed these ladies so damn much. Don't think I heard a peep out of them in all of 2020. And then this. Theresa has a powerful new haircut, Jenny's escaped from the chain gang, Emily is a brand new mommy, and Stella has regenerated.

Disculpa Daniela. Nos podrías explicar a los "no mexicanos" en qué contexto se dice "Cámara Banda" y qué significa? Gracias de antemano
@patriciocasillas94843 жыл бұрын

I’ve been struggling with the loss of the most beautiful person i’ve met in my life, i had relationships before but when i met her i felt what real love must be like, no butterflies no nervousness just pure relaxation of the soul, when we’d be together i’d never think oh no only 20 more minutes and the i must go. Every second was sacred and i never felt the urge to be in the future nor in the past. She was the most beautiful person, not only from the inside but also from the outside, and when she’d play piano or guitar she was creating a new world. I thought it was purely beautiful at first, until i saw that this was her way of dealing with all the pain she was carrying. She reminds me so much of you Theresa, i’m glad that you seem to have found what i couldn’t give to her, an environment that is caring and always there for each other. Cause when she started to answer sporadically i should’ve know that she needs me instead of thinking she needs space. Well blaming myself won’t help anyone and it will never bring her back. I tried to let her go for a long time but i couldn’t, it felt like deleting my most beautiful memories so i’ve tried to embraced her, i told myself that with her death something in me died as well and it’s up to me whether i’ll nurture it with the pain she’s felt or with her infinite love and passion for all things beautiful. Whenever i see/feel or hear something beautiful now it reminds me of her and i’m thankful for every second i got to spend with her, for all i know not everybody gets the chance to feel something like this. It was a rough time, and still is but i keep reminding myself that it was her choice and i gotta respect that the way i’ve respected her. If you wanna walk through hell i’m down with that, but if we wanna get out of it we’ve got to walk through it, there is no way back out of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart your music helps me and a lot of other beings to not only embrace the pain we’re all carrying but also fall in love with the world again. And if anybody wants to listen to her music it’s on youtube, her name is Deborah Lerice and the song’s called mr. Claude I love you all And remember After winter must come spring
