Hey Leon get a grip. I'm 37 and I'm still barely tapping into the 60's & 70's. It takes time to understand the past generations, especially nowadays the way digital has changed (perhaps warped) music. But it seems rather counterproductive to bitch about the youth that's following down a good path of sound. Would you rather krunk? These girls sound great, and are making some great music. Its not their job to research the past to be sure they aren't recreating it. Besides, the drum beats (machines) were shit in the 80s, so no matter how close this is to something you know, its most likely better. And made by real instruments no less. Enjoy the music..... save the negativity.

this was already done by numerous bands in 80's college rock without the awkward transition or over dramatic presentation. the indie kids nowadays have no clue about what was actually "cool" in all the past genres they research and this may have been piss poor at best
