best thing theyve ever done for me , my friend leant me his ipod on a car journey and listened to the whole album and to be totally honest i didnt expect much from 4 girls from america but was blown away staring at the window in silence along a motorway in England , i know that sounds totally sexist but no girls really made this sort of music with such haunting darkness and depth before or since , never mind best girl band etc , warpaint are one of the best bands of all time and easily the best band of the last 15 years , all genius as individuals especially stella and jenny who again, are one of the greatest rhythm sections ever , so locked in its ridiculous. i prefer this darker sound more than some of the newer stuff and the fool is their best album but each album has high points, they should be headlining glastonbury by now but their sound is too deep for the average festival goer i suppose
