Thank you Craig. Whenever I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with my projects or in a creative slump I always come here and watch one of your videos. Its a Constant source of creativity, inspiration and drive to keep going.

I think you should do more customs like this, the ones where you redesign the character based off their past

Well, that’d be great but it takes a looooong time and a lot of effort. And then people just say “do more! Do more!”

You are also a source of inspiration when it comes to the quality and time you invest in your work. Never seen a simple repaint with your work. Always something truly original. AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! This has got to be the most well thought out design ever created in action figure form. Your design actually makes so much more sense than any Marvel has put out for Kang; so much so that they really should take note for this truly inspired design. I've never really been a fan of Kang but this is my favorite figure by far. Every bit of design and sculpt is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this. I'd love to see more of these...I'm thinking series.

As a person that wants nothing more than to get into custom making but currently has absolutrly zero know how or practical experience, I really appreciate your in depth explanations and the fact that you name and show the products and techniques you use. I've decided to start low and aim high beginning with repainting weapons and accessories before I move on to repurposing and creating some from scratch where I'll hopefully work up the courage for full figure repaints and sculpting. Currently looking into brushes and paints and all of the various accoutrements I'll need to get started, but I'm excited to be sure.

Great work Craig. A lot of your history with Kang is similar to me in that I like the idea and look but couldn't know where to begin with finding a good story for him and fully grasping his long complicated story. I knew of his multiple identities but again trying tto understand them in simple terms was difficult so I thank you for giving a detailed but easy understand breakdown of him and good stories to read about him and I'll be sure to check them out. As for your figure I like your version and definitely is a different take and a good way to honour his history and who he is. I think that's what makes your customs different to others not only are they well made but they are unique because they are your own take and yours' alone. Once again really liked it and I look forward to seeing your next custom from comics.

I’m not really a tutorial kind of guy so I don’t think there’s much chance of me doing that. There are a lot of guides out there if you google it though. Check out Action Figure Toronto’s website for a detailed walk through of various customs all of which pretty much talk about disassembly and paint rub prevention.

all I was trying to see is that do you just do Marvel or do you do DC or you do both because I'm new to your channel I just describe subscribe to it yesterday and I don't really know that much about it I see that your work is absolutely beautiful it's really creative I just wanted to have some more details diving into your Channel
@warrack6 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I do things that inspire me. That tends to mostly be Marvel stuff. I’ve not done any DC customs for years and years and they’re not on KZbin. I have also done video game and movie stuff but if I’m going to choose to spend months making something chances are it’s going to be marvel. My channel is hopefully about inspiring people to try it themselves! Give customising a go yourself.

Have you ever tried Mr. Super Clear.(MSC) sealant? There are some precautions that have to be taken with it, but most doll customizers that I follow swear by it. I know what you do is a little bit different, then doll customizing, but I think the MSC might be a little more durable then the Krylon.
