It's 2024 and I just now discovered this video. No idea how it got by me. Bought the CD when it was released. Even though it was sort of an excursion into post-grunge alternative, it was still Warrant and a great album.

While it's a disappointment after the magnificent 'Dog Eat Dog' album, there's lots to like about 'Ultraphobic'!
@ACCH-cm9ou3 жыл бұрын
it s a great album indeed, if you take songs like mr rainmaker,song and dance man, i saw red and uncle tom s cabin on the second album, you already see jani s growing in songwriting skills,which progressed on the dog eat dog album and took a huge step on the ultraphobic record...he was definetely the real thing , great voice,not emulating any metal or rock giant,but completely conscious of his abilities and very personal in style...lyrically and musically he had the gift of writing great songsno doubt about it...forever missed rip

Warrant burst onto the scene in 1989 with their album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, which produced four music videos for four successful singles, Down Boys, Heaven, Big Talk and Sometimes She Cries. They followed up their debut album with arguably their most famous (and notorious) album Cherry Pie in 1990, which produced four music videos for Cherry Pie, I Saw Red, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, and Blind Faith. In 1992, they released a music video for We Will Rock You, which was included on the movie soundtrack for the immensely popular movie Gladiator starring Russell Crowe. That same year, they released their third studio album Dog Eat Dog, which spawned music videos for Machine Gun and The Bitter Pill. In 1995, they released two music videos for Family Picnic and Stronger Now from their Ultraphobic album. In 1996, they released their album, Belly to Belly, which was their last album of all original material to feature Jani Lane on vocals. In ’96, they released music videos for A.Y.M from the album as well as acoustic videos for I Saw Red and The Bitter Pill. After a hiatus of almost ten years, Warrant released their seventh studio album Born Again, which was their first with new lead singer Jaime St. James, ex-Black N’ Blue lead singer. For this album, the band produced music videos for all 12 songs and included them on a DVD entitled Born Again: Delvis Video Diaries. We’ve featured a playlist of these videos below all of Warrant’s other videos. In 2011, Warrant released their eighth studio album called Rockaholic, which featured the band’s third lead singer Robert Mason, who replaced Jani Lane in 2008 after he had reunited with the band for a while. They released two music videos in support of Rockaholic, Life’s a Song and Home. In 2017, Warrant released their ninth studio album called Louder Harder Faster with Robert Mason still at the helm. They released two music videos from the album, the remake of Merle Haggard’s song I Think I’ll Just Stay Here and Drink, and the title track, Louder Harder Faster.

@@williamjamesayers7719 The acoustic video for "I Saw Red" was released in 1991, not during Belly to Belly. 1996 was just the year that it saw a release on a Warrant album (Best of Warrant).

I love Warrant. Ultraphobic, Belly to Belly...those albums got me through high school. I remember when my friend got this video for his cable access show from CMC, the label. I never liked the video. Granted it was helping kids, but it was such a bad attempt at trying to be relevant. The music was great, and the band was never better...but boy, the video output of the two videos from the record was bad. Stronger Now wasn't the best video either.
