He mentioned 4-5 months ago, the problem with this is that the amount of breakthroughs we've had in those months, much more in recent weeks has already put any kind of opinion out of perspective if you're even two months behind. If someone checks the news every month on AI lets say, they'll probably miss out on a lot of breakthrough that are occurring quite frankly almost every day now and it'd be too difficult to catch up.

From molecular engineering to the medical industry, we're going to experience a huge boom in almost every industry, that development requires more people to utilize AI. It's all the time-consuming aspects of these jobs that are now being eased.

Honestly AI is the way for individuals to climb the ladder and be productive at work and consume a lot of knowledge that is not publicly available to everyone. The possibilities are endless and a person can perform now multiple things a day thanks to AI which is very helpful! Of course there will be consequences as for anything else, but it’s something deal with when the time comes.

I used it for work now multiple times, save me hours for $20 per month. So it provides efficiency advantage for sure. That said, many times it will quite confidently give you an incorrect answer and it takes number of iterations to get it corrected. Overly verbose and unnecessarily.

I believe Google made an AI model last year that you can feed a joke into and it literally breaks down exactly why it's humorous. There are also already a lot of people who are leveraging current AI products like ChatGPT in a multitude of ways to make money, launch novel businesses, etc. I think you could also say companies like NVIDIA are already hugely profiting from their breakthroughs in AI right now in the present. He's the expert but I'd disagree that we don't know if it's useful...it definitely is. It's also potentially dangerous, that is true too.

Why are so many people bashing Buffett? He's an old school self made billionaire, before the internet came along and allowed entrepreneurs to reach an entire world of customers, thus creating a whole new group of billionaires. I dont know a lot about Buffett, but I know he lives simply and was upset that the tax system allowed him to pay less perentage wise in taxes then his secretary. He also gave away most of his wealth for charity. Whats not to like? And even if you dont like him, why comment about it, its not like he stands out as a political renegade or something, he's a savy businessman.

Chat GTP is a fancy search engine not much different than what we already have. It goes out and quickly correlates existing data. For some trades this might be valuable if the data is correct. The work I have done with Chat GTP around natural history for example it failed miserably on almost every question. Junk in junk out.
