There were four samples in the song: ‘Regulate’ by Warren G & Nate Dogg (1994) ------------- 1. ‘I Keep Forgetting’ - Michael McDonald (1982) (Which is the main sample for the song.) 2. ‘Sign Of Times’ - Bob James (1981) (Which is the synth riff used in the intro & at each chorus of the song.). 3. Casey Siemaszko as Charlie Bowdre in Young Guns (1988) (Which is the vocal sample in the beginning saying: “Regulators, we regulate any stealing of his property and we damn good too, but you can't be any geek off the street, gotta be handy with the steel if you know what I mean to earn your keep.”) 4. ‘Wikka Wrap’ - The Envasions (1981) (Which is where the line: “When rhythm is life & life is rhythm” in the third verse originally came from.)
