I was at this show. It was a blast. My father (who isn't a deadhead by any means) came with me and pointed out how he's never seen that many people dancing at any rock concert he's ever been to (The Who, Black Sabbath, etc etc) let alone a concert with the Boston Pops. LOL YEAH BUDDDY! We both had a great time and I was happy to share that with my father. The venue is right next to a lake and this was during the Super Moon. So the moon was huuuuge and was over the lake, which is to your right when facing the stage, the whole show. Very beautiful. Warren mentions the Super Moon before playing "Standing on the Moon" which was the highlight of the show for me, along with this Scarlet and Shakedown. There was also a lady there who was creating the light show that you can see behind the Boston Pops on the back drop of the stage. She was using water/oil colors on two pieces of glass to create the effect as she simply moved the glass to the music. She was really cool to watch, which I did for a few minutes. Not to mention Warren is using Jerry's guitar "Wolf." Awesome and only $25 for tix and was BYOB.

One of the many good things about Warren is that he's not afraid to take chances on stage. Whether it's the interpretation of his music, some obscure covers or the diverse musicians he plays with he gives it his all while keeping the audience in mind to please them .Like a good actor, he won't be typecast into a particular role, and this expands his own musical world as well. Everyone benefits from his musical generosity.

Scarlet, I was only listening and heard an old familiar sound come rolling back through my ears into my head and my Soul asked a one word wonder that was "WOLF?". My ears can't cry from joy so my eyes cloud vision all blurry. Thanks.

particular gig was just incredible and I was about this close but on the other side. I am so stoked that they enjoyed it so much they decided to do it again right in Boston together this spring! Warren is to Jerry as Stevie Ray is to Hendrix. There's only one guy who could cover their predecessor idol and make it look and sound good while making it their own. In the case of Jerry, Warren's that guy.

Got nothing but respect for warren after all since James Brown passed warren is the hardest working guy in show biz,the dude plays 345 nights a year and has unlimited skills But it just doesn't seem right that "Wolf" makes an appearance.I watched and listened to jerry play 'wolf' for a bunch of years at least 200 shows.Wolf is tired let him rest he is as crisp as the rest of us.
