Your videos are so informative. The cost of living is amazingly unbelievable for the quality. One thing I noticed though is that the Turkish apartments are usually partitioned into separate rooms like the kitchen and living room. I think these are the older designs. I wonder if there are more of the American style open floor plans with the newer ones. Looking forward to your next video about medical insurance. I hope you can compare the insurance to the American Medicare Advantage for retirees. Out here, the part B of Medicare which cost $170 per month is usually used to purchase a plan from private insurers. These are sort of HMO’s that will take that amount and provide the services that you might need such as doctor visits, labs and medicines. Part A takes care of hospitalization. Are there similar plans out there?

In Turkey kitchens are actively used for cooking daily, and in open designs the smells from cooking kinda linger in the living room area so it is not very popular.

They do that ' Amerikan Mutfak '' mostly in studio apartment to save from the space. We prefer to have the kitchen seperate cause the smell would sink on the walls even though we use fans ( aspiratör )still small amounts of grease would stick here and there, so it is a minus to have American kitchen

Airbnb’s are typically 3 to 4 times higher than long term rates for a typical 12 month lease. If you watch the video with where we stayed we paid over $1,200 in winter for a great two bedroom, summer is the highest season.

Hi Warren. My wife and I will be traveling through Türkiye for 4 weeks next March from California. Do we need to purchase health insurance? Thank you. Mark
@WarrenJulieTravel
@WarrenJulieTravel 2 жыл бұрын
It’s not required as a tourist, check your regular medical policy to see if they cover you internationally, if it doesn’t and you have concerns then you may want to purchase coverage. Turkey has low costs for services, so for routine issues you are probably fine paying out of pocket. If something major happens is probably your only and main concern. We carry a $2,500 deductible, and have not used our coverage the past 29 months as we’ve traveled. We hope we never use it, but it’s there for a worse case scenario. If you apply for residency, you will need to show proof of medical coverage. As a tourist it’s good for piece of mind, but it’s not required.

Completely empties both the bladder and bowels.In addition, cleaning of the anus is very important for both men and especially women..The vagina of every woman who does not clean her anus with water is open to the disease.
